  • the clipscrews of the Ganzo can easily fasten with a torx-screwdriver ;) In my video i compare the G704 with the original H&H and the screwpoints are very different and less quality to the H&K.

  • @zwencologne By the time I noticed the play the holes were stripped. Nice review you got on your channel, I wish I understood more German it looks very complete (I will get back to the Deutche welle free classes when I have time). I didn't even know that the Ganzo was a copy of another knife though it's not very surprising.

  • That movement of the pocket clip you are showing is likely due to torsion and not side to side play or being loose. Mine does the same thing, but the screws are torqued down solid. Many of the longer pocket clips with narrow tips will tend to yield a little twisting movement, regarless of the knife brand. It's still a strong clip...wont fail you.....but the movement really is aggravating.

  • @Lex5576 Unfortunately in my case the screws stripped the scales, when I noticed the play I tried to screw them back and on the first one it was like going through butter (without applying too much torque).. It's true that it could happen with any knife, if it gets loose you do have to screw it back right away to prevent damage.. I do expect it to be tight from the factory though.

  • @dlacroixcom I had something similar to happen when I bought my Spyderco Tenacious. The clip came from the factory tip down, but I prefer tip up. Went to loosen the screws....stripped all three of them!! The factory (Sanrenmu) had put loctite on the threads. I had to cut slots in the screws with a dremel and extract them with a screwdriver. Spyderco happily sent free replacement screws. But it's stupid to put loctite on screws that are meant to be removed in the first place.

  • is g702 assisted?

  • @dazi4131 Nope, they're both manual. The good thing about the axis lock is that you can flip it open and flip it closed, if there was a spring of any kind I guess it would be impossible to flip to the closed position.
