  • yeahh Maine is always like that, loaded with Tornados.

  • the large white clouds in the back are super cell thunderstorms , the most dangerous ones :0 its rare for Maine to see this .

  • A tornado in Maine? That's new.

  • @infinitecanadian At one time I'd agree with you but not lately. In fact for the last few years Maine has been hit with quite a few storms that produced tornadoes. The weather patterns are changing. In fact there have been so many tornadoes in Oxford County Maine within the last few years that the county installed a telephone warning system

  • @mainmedic How odd! Global warming, I suppose. What's a telephone warning system?

  • @infinitecanadian Not sure if it's global warming or not. As for the telephone warning system it's called citywatch it was cheaper and more efficient to install it versus a terrestrial warning system. They can call everyone within the county who is in the storm's path. They can also use it to alert people for other issues as well. Of course if you don't have a land-line you have to sign up yourself. It remains to be seen how well it will work.

  • @mainmedic We haven't any warning system at all in Canada, but fortunately, we aren't the meteorlogical shooting-gallery nthat the U.S.A. seems to be.

  • When i was a kid my grandfather told me about tornadoes in Caribou.Seems they were pretty common from what i heard.

  • I live in Maine too! I live in Oxford county. Are thunderstorms are always that blue color and we get them pretty bad.

  • when u saud that the clouds were blue that means that hail maybe big hail is in the storm. it is said that the sun reflects off the rain and hail creating a bluish greenish affect. great video!!

  • @naturekid13 Thanks for the info!

  • 1:21 I'd piss myself if the clouds got THAT dark

  • I hade a tornado and we hade trees down and hail

  • i herd about this storm on the wether channel they said its got hit hard by rains is that ture?

  • this was for sure a strange storm we had. Maine woot!

  • You are lucky as hell you get to see something so amazing. I would give anything I had just for one time in my life to be able to see that.

  • 2:02 "Thats Rotating right there." *Hmm lets walk a little closer to it* ahha! nice video!! :)

  • Amazing! I live near Bangor and we never get tornadoes.

  • My mamere's house is on Brissette Rd. and was actually hit by the tornado. Whereabouts in Caribou are you located (where was this filmed)?

  • @bigsissarose South Main St hill - near Hilltop School. The clip was filmed in the general direction of Brissette Road.

  • Amazing video! Thanks for capturing it!!

  • Great video man. I could see some of that from over here in Fort Fairfield but nothing like you captured.

  • That's crazy!!! Good filming, Brian!

  • Haha, I was there. It was horrible! I'm a senior at Caribou high and we were having our Class night! Lightning hit the school and the doors slammed shut and the lights went dead. Never been more scared in my life, but I must say it was and will be a Class night to never forget!

  • I have the same view from Wade Maine and is uploading right now. The sky was so greenish, rotation clouds.

  • Wow... that's Texas skies right there! freaky stuff, huh? Great video - it's so hard to capture the visual of those storm cells! Tip though - when the clouds start dropping down like that right above you - probably a good idea to take cover! :-)

Are you the same blevesque from geocaching?

  • @lizz1994 Yep same blevesque!

  • @blevesque I think we emailed back a few years ago. I'm geocaching in Texas nowadays :-)
