  • merahputihwarrior :Malaysia is not a peninsular..malysia = malay peninsular + sabah & sarawak..

  • So, you're going to return Sabah to the Sultan of Sulu now?

  • In tagalog;

    Malay means Consciousness

    Malaya means Freedom

    both word identifies with LIFE.

  • S= Singapore is just next door. LOL.. good one.. cheers from Singapore!

  • Im filipino pure malay i love malays, people from indonesia and malaysia are like our lost brothers, similar sounding languages and looks. Malay Pride!

  • sudah..jangan gaduh2.

  • the difference between Indonesia and Malaysia is :

in Malaysia --> Malay = Race

in Indonesia --> Malay = only one of many tribes in Indonesia which equal with Javenese,sundanese,dayaknese,batavian,etc..

that's why many Indonesian never accept malay is a part of asian race,so they refused if you said "malay archipelago".cause the archipelago is belong to Indonesia and Philippines.I guess we are more confident if called as "Nusantarian"

  • @lagodaxnian yup..that's the fact...

  • @lagodaxnian it's true and....i glad u didn't fail in South East Asia History...and many people nowadays had fail in it... That why some Malaysian and Indonesian are fighting until now...they should study history again...agree my fren?

  • @akukacak2008 I agree..but you are a Malaysian, and Malaysian people usually do not like with this opinion..this is quite surprising me !! I think that the race was more suitable for "Nusantara" (archipelago) known as Austronesian race,

  • the Austronesian race also is not something appropriate for countries in southeast asia since only limited as the Austronesian language family, then to find the easiest way is to use the name of a tribe in the archipelago to describe the race as Malay or Melayu (in Bahasa).

  • @lagodaxnian yea..more prefer that.. u'r very superb in history young men.. thumbs up to you..:)

  • @akukacak2008 please don't say that..i am nothing about history, because i'm not historian.i'm also the same like other, still learn and study.i learn and study everything.i am read a book, browsing the article in internet,etc..

  • @lagodaxnian ok2...u like to read...and that's good act.. kalo kita ngomong tanpa ilmu, itu ngundang parah kan?

  • Istilah padanan untuk "Nusantara" dalam bahasa Melayu ialah Alam Melayu dan dalam bahasa Indonesia ialah "Nusantara", walaupun istilah ini kini juga digunakan secara meluas di Malaysia.

  • here in my heart forever there is only PERSEKUTUAN TANAH MELAYU & BORNEO! and above all, let's be UNITED, all of us, the indigenous of the entire Malay Archipelago, no matter you are Singaporean or Malaysian or Indonesian or Bruneian or Filipinos, whoever you are TOGETHER WE STAND, UNITE OUR HEART! WE ARE BROTHERS AND SISTERS! that's why it is very hard to claim everything to an exact location because it is in our blood, one huge family, everybody...STAND TOGETHER!

    i love all of you!

  • @firebird909 I am filipino and I feel the same way man.. we got to stick together like rice

  • Malaysia is dead!! It's time to revive back TANAH MELAYU and SANGGARAMASIN!! Death to the demokrats!! Malaysia destroys our "nusantara raya" relationship!!

  • no matter what race we come from, its from the heart that shows what we are

  • bahasa jawi satu bahasa satu nusantara

    hidup islam palestin

    hidup melayu patani

    hidup melayu sulu

    takbir

  • SETUJU! dan juga, Nusantara ialah perkataan keramat kita semuanya! BERSATULAH KITA SEMUA ORANG ORANG NUSANTARA!

    N.U.S.A.N.T.A.R.A selama-lamanya!

  • who make that word?

  • why do malaysians hate filipinos in utube? aren't we suppose to treat each other as brothers instead? coming from the same race, got my point?

  • I agree! Malaysians and Indonesians too easily forget the history and blood both of their countries shared with the Philippines before colonization...

  • As a malay of mix heritage from Malaysia anak1, I really agree with you.. In fact I believe the Filipinnos and the Indonesians are my cuz...

We have very close interrelated history back those days...In fact, I don't deny we malaysian "deutero malays" came out from the Philipines before we intermarried with other nations that came in contact with us and before that taiwan. While the Proto malays came out from Yunan, China through the Mekong river

  • To hate or to love only personal feeling. Maybe only 1 reason to hate but 100 reasons to love. However humans always find reason to hate. Filipinos ask why Malaysian, Malaysian ask why Indo, Indo ask why Singapore and so on. 1 xcouple fall in hate, others 100 couple fall in love (no flag or map in your lover's eye but always a flag in someone that you hate).

  • I can say the same thing about filipinos. after all most of those hate videos on indonesia and malaysia on utube are made by filipinos.

  • @kewlkewl12 hey ur the one spreading hate right now??!!! please dont comment back peace

  • @july071992 yeah...that's the spirit..

  • Thanks for your visit to Malaysia and hopefuly next time you can explore more of Malaysia and her neighbours to really enjoy all the beautiful sceneries and not forgetting all the good food and reasonable prices.

    Ramli

  • Hi Mr Ramli,

I recently visited Redang Island and really loved it. I think Singaporeans are lucky that we have Malaysia and Indonesia to go to for many things. These places, i find are great for relaxing and for family and friends.

  • The Malay Archipelago as defined in my notes comprised the vast area of the mainlands and islands around it .Yes,Malaysia is merely a peninsula but it is part of the vast Malay Archipelago. Please do read my texts carefully and try to be more pro active maybe that's a better approach.

It just history that called it The Malay Archipelago and not by other names.

  • What a preposterous claim when you consider that Semenanjung Malaysia is merely a peninsula?!?!

Archipelago means - 'A sea or ocean with many islands in it' as found in Page 60 of MacMillan English Dictionary. The only archipelago that I can think of that is the Indonesian Archipelago.

Besides, what is the percentage of Genetic Malays in the area of your claim?

  • aku bukan nak belagak macam anak jantan

tapi memang anak jantan mata kau buta kah apa

kau ni tak pegi sekolah kah apa

    dulu sekolah kat mane

sape tu datuk maharajalela - tok jangguk - tok bahaman - sarjan hasan - leftenan adnan

    lu pikir lah sendiri

  • Malay is a part of nusantara sawo matang people .. And surely not any part of your kin! GO BACK TO YOUR COUNTRY!! I bet you doesnt belong to any part of our NUSANTARA ISLAND!! This is nusantara and we shall rise!!
