I just saw a sneak preview of the movie at my school and let me tell you the real footage is disturbing. It was also one of the few movies I've ever seen that has given me the chills. This movie really makes you think about life outside of our planet and at the same time makes you think, how could anyone have made this up?
IF this film was based on any truth, the conclusion of the story would be that the people suffered from a condition called sleep paralysis, not alien abduction. I've had it happen to me several times and it's very frightening. You're half awake, half asleep and unable to make yourself wake up or move. You see shadows and movement in your room, around your bed. Major panic sets in and somehow you manage to wake yourself up. Very terrifying. A cloaked shadow stood over me once and swung an ax!!

You can tell which footage is real or fake because the fake footage was done by hollywood for the story and the actual footage is them being abducted or whatever so part of it is real, the fill in the blanks with the raw footage because that is the real stuff.
Part of the movie is dramatization, then at the times that it calls for they put in the actual footage. The parts where they areacting has a matching surrounding like the same looking room, so when they input the actual real footage nothing about the scenery changes.

I got scarred and threw the blankets over me. Then it disappeared when i looked again. Eventually, I went to sleep but then later on I was in a hypnotic state and got up and started heading out to leave the house. For all we know they are probably as scared of us as we are of them, that is if they do exist (most UFO videos I've seen show the crafts observing Earth for short periods of time). I really doubt the majority of "footage" in this movie is real, but the possibility of life elsewhere is very, very real. I've had it happen to me several times and it's very frightening. You're half awake, half asleep and unable to make yourself wake up or move. You see shadows and movement in your room, around your bed. Major panic sets in and somehow you manage to wake yourself up. Very terrifying. A cloaked shadow stood over me once and swung an ax!!

You can tell which footage is real or fake because the fake footage was done by hollywood for the story and the actual footage is them being abducted or whatever so part of it is real, the fill in the blanks with the raw footage because that is the real stuff.

I got scarred and threw the blankets over me. Then it disappeared when i looked again. Eventually, I went to sleep but then later on I was in a hypnotic state and got up and started heading out to leave the house. My parents stopped me I tried opening the door taking the chain off and my parents slammed it shut. I kept telling them I have to leave I have to go out.

I have not seen the film yet, but when I was 13, I woke up very early in the morning. I lived in a railroad type apartment so you could see to the living room. I saw a type of shadow behind the rocking chair. I tried waking my mother but she did not wake. I laid back down upon lifting my head I saw a short figure at the bedstool with huge eyes staring at me.

i really do think aliens are real. once, when i was a kid, i was at a campsite with my friend. and we felt the earth start to shake so we got out of our tent and looked all around but we could see nothing. then we looked up into the air. when we looked up.. we saw a massive rectangular shaped object with 10 lights on it flashing in some sort of pattern it was making the trees blow all over the place and it was almost like it was landing. then it was gone just like that poof.

Why are aliens always portrayed as being evil and frightening? For all we know they are probably as scared of us as we are of them, that is if they do exist (most UFO videos I've seen show the crafts observing Earth for short periods of time). I really doubt the majority of "footage" in this movie is real, but the possibility of life elsewhere is very, very real. Remember that life is not limited to pure water and oxygen, we might just find something that thrives on some other chemicals.

I mean, I think the advertising campaign was designed to make us question the validity of their claims (ie. "archived footage" and "actual cases") so we would look for ourselves.
