  • Can you get me lushfmlk.info

  • LALALLALA IM HARD

  • i only came here to dislike this shit!

  • @WeiChen00 You mean you are a douchey troll?

  • Didn't Bieber hit a little kid with a laser tag gun?

  • lol at the fire drill.

  • i disagree. bieber is just "cute" or "handsome" or whatever, he promotes an irreal standard of beauty, he promotes consumism, promotes the fake idea that its ok to be silly as long as you are handsome and depth has no value. he promotes the use of expensive clothes, and... im too sleepy to write more about it. thanks 4 teaching me about social learning but beleive me, he is not a good role model, thats like sayin barbie (yeah that doll) is a good role model, and its not.

  • UR ON JUSTIN BIEBER SIDE,,? GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • @crafty97 do you know what gay is? check the dictionary. homosexual or happy, i agree he is a happy person with the 6 different smiles the danielle pointed out, but he does not have an interest in dudes. if you are a dude, the common answer is that you are jealous on justin not being able to love you in a special sort of way... awww. sad for you.

  • If photography doesn't work out, you should be a Psychology teacher, you explain concepts really well :)

  • OMG shut up

  • lovin the end :)

  • You saying that you know he has 6 different smiles is creepy... If a male said that about a underage girl, he would be considered a pedo. why is that?

  • dan brown sent me here

  • Bieber is a product and Gaga is too. You obey the music industry and the celebrity gossip media industry by branding yourself as Justin fans. You funnel your allowance and your parents money to the shareholders of these corporations. I'm not complaining about his music, as I haven't heard it yet.

  • @dashiellv You're right. Pretty much all celebrities are products. Even the Beatles were a product that "sold well." The difference is that some products actually have talent and some don't. (I think Lady Gaga is talented, but like you, I haven't heard JB's music.) It's unfortunate that record companies have reduced music to a "big business," with little thought for quality or talent.

  • "Its probally going to be kindoff long, I might not get if up until after midnight." Thats what she said.

  • its gonna be long , it probly wont be up till after midnight lmao "thats what she said"

  • Hey youre dans girl friend! Anywhos, Personally im a fan of bieber. And i totally agree with you! He made it big by posting videos on youtube and getting discovered at such a young age! And hes doing what he loves! He is a good role model for teens like myself. And hes inspired me to keep on following my dreams. And one day i will post a video of my singing. You never know nowadays! And im subbing because you seem like a very intelligent person:) YAY BIEBER :D

  • I'll accept that a majority of what you said holds truth, but I still can't promote teen icons. Especially those on TV. Sure, teen idols may be appropriate for teens, but a vast quantity, if not a majority of the fans of these child stars are not teenagers. They're kids ranging anywhere from 12 to 5 years old. Any form of entertainment staring current and youthful celebrities should be appropriatly rated for teens and up.

  • Question: What is it that you live for? Just curious of where your passion is coming from.

  • haha. you're awesome

  • I LOVE JUSTiN BiEBER!! ;* he is yummii!! But he is 3 years older than me ): o well in an interview he said he likes to date a few years younger or a few years older sooo... Im all gooooood (;

  • I lovedd it (: you make me laugh

  • 1:10, yup.

  • Give us your top 10 coping skills

  • MAN!!!DAN IS SOOOOO LUCKY

  • @fennzy12 lmfao, i think someone's jeaaalouuuuussss :D

  • Wow you're so cute! When Dan said you were his girlfriend I was expecting... Well... Nevermind. But if you guys get married then please invite me?

    THANKS A BUNCH HUNNEH

  • haha 'ARE YOU KIDDING ME!'

    Very interesting video :)

  • Aw I love this girl

  • you're dans lover :D

  • Witch would you rather give up? Porn or Bacon and why?

  • LOL GIGGITY it might be long it might not be up till friday rofls

  • @floore2 then please kill yourself and not tell everyone else because they honestly dont care

  • heres a question: what came first: the chicken or the egg?

  • @bttfnut89 the egg

  • @allevis dont be a smart a$s

  • haha youre sooooo beautiful!! youre eyes are soo amazing and youre smile is beautiful too, hah just natural buety all around..

  • very nicely done

    n fyi im not a minor ;)

    jk

  • i might use this for my speech this year.

i'll tell you how i go

    kthnxbye

  • Ever consider conformity to other people's ideals? For example: teen girls today are provided with the image on what they should adore, love and do with their lives (Barbie dolls, toys music etc..) and through this people exemplify their sexuality through that. Anyways what I'm saying is perhaps a majority of the female teen population is attracted to him due to the fact that they just want to fit it (kinda like conforming to drugs in the 1970s) Let me know what u think

  • I disagree that we brand ourselves with the traits of that persons because I buy Bring Me The Horizon music and it's not becasue I want to be able to scream like Oli or play the guitar like they do or whatever traits they might have, it's because I respect and love their music. I really don't think I want to be branded as someone who has traits like Oli Sykes...

  • @nicolearredondo Ya but your traits are branded based on the music you listen to; and through that it reflects how you dress and what your opinions are on life. Now I'm not saying you are like the people who create the music, but rather what that music represents for example: In the 1960 drugs were branded within a lot of rock and roll music and in part a lot of people who listen to that music did or tried drugs. That was because they affiliated themselves with what the music was explaining

  • I don't look up to celebrities, or my parents, or my friends. I look up to fictional characters. Is that weird?

  • @UniquEnegma Not really cause you're still exemplifying a role model and I imagine they have have some human traits; considering it was created by one.

  • youre really amazing:) thanks for some great ideas!

  • I agree with your points that it's a good thing that JB is doing what he loves but I take issue with the fact that the songs are really annoying and when grown ups start fawning over him it makes my blood boil.

Teen stars as role models for teens I can deal with, but it's never just teenagers that have to hear or see them. The media exposure is huge and it's quite difficult to avoid them - and believe me I do try very hard.

  • @chrisormie In fact my problem lies more with the media and record companies targeting kids and young teens to sell to. Good business but bad morals. I think that marketing to those that have no money is a poor decision and just encourages them to bug parent or other adults to buy them the merchandise.

Anyway, good video. Came over from Dan's channel and subscribed. KUTGW & DFTBA

  • Well, thank you, for one. I didn't like Justin Bieber much, but I didn't have a reason. After seeing this video, I can understand why I didn't like him. My friends didn't. But there's really no reason to hate him or anything. I don't have to like him, but I do respect him more now. This video gave me a whole new view on teen icons. Thank you so much.(:

  • Meaningful, ok. Wait did she say get it up? hehe. oh crap sorry dan...

  • i think that was some realy good points you was making idont know how justin effing bieber is but he sound like a usa wersion of a swe calld johan palm (he is from my shiti little home town (its only got like 12000 person living ther)) (he got famous in the swedish version of american idol) and i dont like the kind of music but i think he is doing a good thing for people who have him as a role modle

  • I think those were some very valid points you make and have possibly made me change my mind about the role of teen icons. Also I understand your frustration with fire drills it happened three times within a week during midterms...people were pretty angry.

  • I think you're absolutely right with saying that Justin Bieber is a good thing because he's going out and doing what he loves. He isn't demanding that everyone love him/his music...he's just having a good time singing (which he does pretty well). I'm a teenage boy, so I agree that it's a bit obsessive when girls crush over him so much...but that has more to do with the fact that they don't know him (they just know he can sing and is fairly cute), not the fact that I'm jealous or angry at him.

  • OH WAIT ITS DANS GF!

  • I completely agree! I think that the social learning theory is spot on for sure, especially.

  • Am i right when i say you date Dan? Or have i misinterpretated sumthin summin?

  • hey its dans girlfriend!

  • hahahaah "so i really really really really wanna ziggah zig ah"

  • I can't agree what he's a good thing...

    I just don't like him and I don't think he's setting a good example...

but sadly IMO if he didn't step up to be the person he is someone else would of...

it's unavoidable that there WILL ALWAYS be some person or group who's SOUL target audience in children through to teens (being the BIGGEST market target and contributor to company income)... I would LOVE to say MORE but youtube comments are limited and if I was at home I MIGHT of made a video response...

  • cool

  • i think you try a little to hard to be funny

  • Question: why do ants never sleep?? That's so cruel of nature...

  • hey danielle! how are you today! (best question everr)

  • omfg that's what she said at 0:12

  • i will never believe that singing about lust is appropriate, no matter the age or anything. or promoting it. i definitely respect her opinion though. shes smartt

  • @twilightfan531 so singing about lust is a bad thing, but your name itself shows you approve of a book/movie series that is entirly based around lust, (lust for sparkly vampires that is).

  • @StuffnMusic no no i know, i created this account maybe a year or so ago? idk i dont remember, but i was thinking about that when i posted this comment, and im already opposed to what twilight is promoting.have you seen the last song? omg...i had to look away so much lol just cuz of how much sexuality is promoted in it. im trying to refrain myself from stuff like that. i went cuz my friends.

thank you for your comment though, honestly.

  • @StuffnMusic and thank you for not being mean.

  • i is happy wid opinion that be yours. good to c people dat respect oders for wats they is doin!. tank u fo dis yo! .lol

no reallly good to see people that dont shit on others just cause theyre jealous

  • no spotm on

    FIND ME ON THE INTERNET?

  • why don't we look up 2 people who are or have actually done good things

Justin Beiber just whines through an auto-tuner about how much he loves someone who doesn't love him

give me a break that kid has never had that issue in his entire life

  • Are you kidding me?

He is a child, a kid singing totally inappropriate songs for his age.

He looks like an 8 year old!

Fine, put him on a Disney channel with the chimp monks,

but get him off my music channel.

  • do you and dan have fights over youtube sometimes?

  • i extremely agree with you, and i wish i could have phrased my video response as good as yours. I like how you proved a point on how if they make a mistake it's really not the end of the world. I personally would never have been able to come up with such detail even though i'm really involved on the topic of teen idols and stars.

  • she reminds me of my sis

  • I don't persay like Justin Beiber but I respect him, as does Dan.

  • Oh, I never thought about it that way. I've some how become so anti-celebrity role models. That I never thought of how much good could come out of it(out side of like, RED or something of the sorts).

  • i think the same, that is a good thing to do what he like.

but if he going to destroy his life is more what he do after this big fame.

if he continue to sing and start his own thing and gets by him own.

or he gets used to the fame and start to be a diva without any real power.

  • The best question I can come up with let's see... If Johnny has 3 apples and sally has 2, why don't they just shut up and eat?

  • Subbed :]

  • YOUR DATING DAN BROWN!! <3

and would dan brown be this big?

  • You actually remind me of Dan Brown :P

  • Aw you're adorable! That's so cute, you and Dan...<3 :) Anywhoozle! I can totally tell you're a social science type-a-person! :P I'm studying the Social Learning Theory!

    The Dan Brown Goddess

  • Are you a feminist ?

  • Ah man, Im gonna have to aprove of Dan Brown's girlfriend.. Although Im totally jealous of you.. Lucky girl..

  • danbrown said to check you out ...you're pretty awesome :) SUBBED! x

  • I think so far that Bieber is only a singer. That's my only criticism.

As far as socially and psychologically, Bieber seems to have his life down to a formula... actually, I'd be more inclined to think that he's using the formula, not that he found it....

    O_O

I wish I could sing like that.

  • great video, subscribed, and not just because your effing cute.

  • lol, 6 diff smiles

    :) :))

  • I think it's the idolizing itself I don't like. This whole cult-like behaviour of teenage fans where you'd rather memorize a complete stranger's favourite colour and birthday than actually create something of your own. A musician trying to become famous isn't necessarily - actually, mostly not - a bad person, but he - and his fans - have all been brainwashed into believing it does matter if you're famous or not. (As have I, unfortunately.)

  • Yeah... Cute couple and nice photo booth pics there in the background.

ANYWAYS: Teen idols are important, but I don't really think it is a good thing. Specifically, people chasing after and practically worshipping people who they will never touch. It sets them up to be used to not achieving their goals, which makes people lazy and have floods of negative emotions.

  • Positive is walking among us, keep that smile :)

  • I totally agree with you. And It's not just that teenagers get good role models, but they also get really happy. I have several friends who love the band Tokio Hotel, and even though it's extremely annoying to listen to them talking about what toothpaste the drummer uses I can still see how happy they get because of it. Some of them have been depressed for a long time, but then they started focusing on TH instead, and it's good that they focus om something that makes them happy instead of sad.

  • I agree with you :) and you have Happy Eyes :)

  • Past two weeks? We get fire drills daily, its an atctual joke.

  • I think your pretty :)

  • I have to agree with you guys, I'm not a fan of "JB" or "J Biebz", I am happy that he is doing what he loves and is building a future, but I honestly feel that his popularity will cause issues for him, soon he will get the real burdon of being "famous", and he will soon have to cut down on his "twitter replies" and other things like that, this is just the beginning and I bet in a few years "JB" won't be as famous as he is now.

  • This was pretty much the same as what I thought about it. Teen icons are inevitable, at least he's not a bad one.

  • You're perfecal. Nice strong look at the facts behind Justin Bieber. He's a better example for kids that a lil Wayne, Tiger Woods, or Michael Vick.

  • Hey Danielle! I really like your take on this!

You're absolutely right; people should be happy to do the things they want to do! It's this generation of pop culture that finds kids jumping into new things every single day! Sure, some may not like his music; but mostly everyone knows who he is. This is the wave of media striking the mind! They take the icon and brand him into the public's minds! THIS is how people love and hate him; he's either the looks, music, 'cool'; it's all J Biebz!

    -JP :D!

  • marry me

    hahahah

  • First I've got to say that you have gorgeous eyes :]

Second I've got to say that I agree with you that Justin does seem to be happy. I like how he is more of a positive role model on kids/teens..or even adults...no matter how young he is and or looks. I'll even go as far as to say that Jamie Lynn and Vanessa are good role models because while yes something bad happened, they were adult about it and took responsibility for their actions while Lindsey doesn't seem to get it yet.

  • I think you nailed it on the head. I can relate because when I was growing up, I was a huge fan of the Backstreet Boys (and I will not confirm nor deny that I am still a fan of theirs) and the reason I did was because I would look at how they acted during interviews and they seemed really down-to-earth, which made me love them even more. That's why they had so many fans, that's why Bieber has so many fans, and Disney has been cranking out teen idols that have the same characteristics.

  • I get the point you're making, but many of Justin Bieber's fans won't really look too far into what he's doing, more of what his songs say. Many people, especially fangirls, aren't deep enough to realize what someone is doing but what their songs say or condone: Falling in love at an extremely young age.

  • but what about the people that take advantage ofJB and at the same time of the teenagers, and whats your parameter for saying that someone is a good or a bad influence?

  • i do agree with what you say, i just don't think that girls should be turning their eyes to good little nerdfighters instead of what hey will never acheive. they could make those nerdfighters very happy!

ps.. are you dating dan brown?

  • You're just as eloquent and intelligent as Dan. You go girl! You're great!

  • i really like your point here =] cos you're right, its not like he's sending a BAD message.

  • Ooh, I have a question... What one life lesson do you think has been the most important or beneficial for you and why?

  • what does VEDA stand for?

  • how are you?

  • do you have a PO box or something like that?

  • @ArmsLikeNoodles Send stuff to Dan with my name on it. :]

  • i have a question. are you japanese? and do you know Apolo Anton Ohno the speed skating

  • I have heard the name 'Justin Bieber' so many times, I still have no idea what he sings & I honestly can't even be bothered looking it up.....

  • How did you get started on Youtube?

  • If you had one wish for the world, what would it be?

  • just for the sake of it I'll repeat the question - What is the story behind the username StrummingSally?

  • What do you think will be man kind's demise?

What's wrong with communism? Or what's wrong with democracy?

    Should I Ipad or Netbook?

How do Red Wood tree's live so long?

Why is the answer to life 42?

Do you think that facebook's intentions of social networking are dying?

If facebook dies, where will the world turn to?!?

Why is it when I type in facebook here it tells me the correct way to spell it is Facebook? Is it really important that Facebook is a proper noun?

    Are these good enough questions?

  • good question: what is the meaning of life? :P

  • What was your wierdest dream?

  • Coffee or tea? ^^

  • If you had only 24 hours to live, what would you do? O.o

  • Is Dan Brown the same in real life as he is in his videos?

  • How many eggs did you find this easer?

  • Do you own and have read all of John Green's books?

  • Whats your favorite movie?

  • steampunk or cyberpunk?

  • What's your favorite color of socks?

Do you prefer your sock in one color or with little motifs on them?

  • Here's my question: Why?

  • Did you have a teen idol when you were like 14/15 years old? and if so, who was it and how did you show that (posters, clothes,...)?

  • Hey, Danielle, who are some people you look up too?

  • If you were on death row what would your last meal be? And what would be your prefered method of execution?

  • Do you think a side segment called in the Cave would be a good idea?

It would be where you go in your cave and discuss a topic, because your thoughts are amazing, and you should spread them.

  • How will you get out of this labrynth?

  • I really like your videos.

  • My question: Do you think it's possible to appreciate the good things in life if we haven't been effected by the bad things in life?

  • If you had one chance to travel through time and then back, would you travel to the past or to the future? why?

  • Gottfried Leibniz or heterochromia?

  • Do you think humans are exempt from the concept of natural selection just because we have a higher intellect than all other mammals and animals in general (well at least I believe we have the highest intellect.. but maybe the dolphins will eventually take over..)

  • A good question:

What do you think a person needs to do in order to go to heaven (in case there is a heaven and a hell)?

  • Are you a robot?

  • What do you think influences youth of today the most, besides school and celebrities?

  • Do you have Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia

  • My question: Giraffe: true or false?

  • i absolutely love ur videos..

  • Have you read Will Grayson Will Grayson?

  • What's your favorite book? Quote? Music?

  • Do you know any hemophiliacs?

  • wait...did you just see that?
