dna is not a code..it is a physical molecule that acts as a tool to duplicate information..it's not like a computer program.

@itzahazylife it actually is, and surpases the capability of all computer programs, a single gram of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) can hold as much information as one trillion cds, a computer program doesnt get even close to being as complex as that single molecule.

dna is not like a computer program..it isn't digital code..it doesn't need intelligent input like computer program..the code aspect of dna is merely the order the nucleotide bases are in..this order can result in Cindy Crawford, or it can result in giant tumors growing all over someones face.

and of course dna can hold more information than a computer. it has had BILLIONS of years to evolve and become more and more complex.

Here we go again with this probability BS. Does that calculation refer to this universe? How do you know this is the only universe? If there are many more universes, then the probability of life becomes much more likely, in much the same way that a jackpot becomes much more likely to be won if more than 1 person attempts to play. And low probability means nothing. It's a low probability that anyone will win the lottery, yet, someone wins every time.

You're clueless. CURRENT dna needs proteins. Early, more primitive replicators didn't require complex proteins.
