Is there anyone out there who has actual footage of these guys going to town on a lion?

I've certainly read vivid descriptions of how they can turn a lion into a 350 lb lump of quivering jelly but no vids.

@pinz2022 Haha i spent weeks trying to find one these video's but sorry to tell you but not really. The breed was used to hunt lions in victorian era so you couldent really get any footage

as well as this they never killed lions only ran and chased them in to the sights of hunters so they could shoot them. both alot of ridgeys and lions died doing it

I have two brothers, one is 34 inche's top of head, 104 lbs, 20 months old, both are unfixed and get along perfectly, superfit!

Very easy going and friendly, but can go in to action lightening fast if need be.

His height was/is: 70cm/2,5 feet.

His weight was/is: 45kg/99 pounds.

@Catscottage our lad is now just two, he is the same weight and looks like the same height we haven't measured him for a little while he doesn't like standing to be measured. but some of those pics the facial expressions are the same. You have a lovely dog.

I have had the pleasure of owning two RR's in my life.

Your dog is an outstanding specimen and is exactly what a Ridgeback should look like. He is in peak condition and I could look at him all day. I am really trying to give your dog the highest compliment I can give. Makes me want another one.

I have two RRB's who are brothers. One looks like this one, and there are very smart. I do feel it is sad when this breed is kept in small areas or tied up etc.

My two duddies have backed off a bear with two cubs and both the bears and my trackers went their own ways peacefully as with other animals. As for alert guard dog they are number one, but extremely good natured to the max.

Quiet, and very little barking except to alert.

Fromms is my only food from a bag too.
