  • Why is it that any American show involving the "USSR", "Israel", "Socialism" or "Muslims" ALWAYS end up in a shitstorm....?

  • This film only confirms what longtime fact known about submarine rescue: rescue from a submarine wreck is rare. If put on a scale of 100, only two rescues would be a success; the rest, failure.

  • isn't

  • Please no more propaganda USA. Kursk sank because he was shot by USA sub( there were 2 subs Toledo and memphis spying Kursk, because kursk was testing new torpedos that were highly secret). Guess why all men died, they could been saved, they really could, russians denied help, because Putin knew if they will save crew they will tell its USA fault and a conflict can begin. Kursk was ready to shot torpedo for intruder, USA decided its kursk or them, they shot and..You can google everything yourself

  • @MrGodItself Ridiculous. The US had and has no interest in sinking a Russian nuclear powered submarine. They had an accident, probably the torpedo they attempted to fire. Believe what you will, but you are engaging in a fevered conspiracy theory.

  • @cartman1492 It was an accident, they were discovered because of a mistake of USS memphis, Kursk was ready to shot a torpedo at them, toledo saved them and kursk sank. Hole in Kursk proves that explosion was caused by outside. Go into site whatreallyhappened. com and find kursk, you'll see the true :)

  • @MrGodItself Then US torpedoes must be far more potent than the world realizes. The double hull design of the Kursk with its reinforced bulkheads was specifically designed to withstand a torpedo hit, but apparently US torpedoes are so potent that they can sink an Oscar II class submarine with a single hit. And apparently these torpedoes are silent as well as none of the hydrophones on the Peter the Great heard screws running in the water. Amazing technology apparently.

  • @MrGodItself BTW, in case you haven't figured it out by now, just because you can read something on the internet, doesn't necessarily make it true.

The Kursk was felled by a torpedo using high test peroxide, a fuel system that the rest of the world had abandoned as too dangerous by the 1960's. The crew of the Krusk behaved valiantly in safing the reactor before they succumbed. These were brave men who were unfortunately were killed by a poor torpedo design and a lack of funds.

  • @cartman1492 I dont care, there are enough proof, that it was USA mistake, More then 100 men died just to protect world piece.

Yeah USA never had a problem with long nose?! they are very tolerant... If some country will practice something secret-- bam USA comes to spy- everybody knows that. Norway confirmed that they memphis need to go repair.

Why russia denied help from other countries? Because they could NOT save those sailors, they could NOT!

  • @MrGodItself Your argument doesn't make logical sense. Both sides had used submarines to observe the other's naval exercises, but neither had ever fired on the other even with they got very close. There had been collisions, but never a firing of torpedoes, so why did the Kursk attempt to fire on the US sub as you allege? It doesn't make sense. Also, you never answered why a singe US torpedo was able to sink the Kursk even though the sub had been designed to withstand a hit.

  • @MrGodItself Norway never confirmed that the Memphis was in for repairs. Certainly she was docked, but this was not unusual as US subs had docked there before. Norway is a member if NATO so it would be normal for a US sub to call on her ports. Also, that dock is not particularly secure. With the Memphis docked on the surface, surely someone would have seen and photographed her damage.

You make a complicated story when a simple one will do. HTP torpedoes were a known problem.

  • @MrGodItself Lets take a moment to review the attitude and foreign relations policy that a lot of countries seem to have towards the United States. It often goes a lot like this:

Foreign country: "You Americans are evil, corrupt and power-hungry. You have no business meddling in the affairs of other nations!"

    some time later

Foreign country: " We have been invaded! America, will you please send your soldiers to die for us? And will you send money so we can rebuild?"

  • my feelings for mrs olga

  • i have learned one thing for sure!!! NEVER claim that your boat or ship is ... "UNSINKABLE"

  • @CorrieKatczynski isn't a submarine supposed to sink? so technically it was never unsinkable to begin with (no offense to the victims of the kursk)

  • i love the narrator voice and i feel that he is dramatic

  • @ 15:33 ITS PUTIN !

  • how unlucky was the poor dude who was on his first mission...and it sank?

  • Thumb up if you love learning about man made disasters

  • whoah.... ironic! the subs that could have saved them from the 'unsinkable' sub, were looking for stuff near the 'unsinkable' titanic's remains! mindblowing isnt it?

  • sad sad event, hope this won't happen again and best wishes to the families of those sailors.

  • I watched this on Deep Sea Salvage Kursk had to have its torpedo room cut off because The Federation of Russia had live ammo the sub was salvaged but not the crew they were all buried at sea

  • that is crazy

  • I love how the video is squashed.

  • why does the speaker refer to the submarine as SHE?

  • @elsat90 all naval vessels are referred to as females, except the Bismark

  • @snowboredsnj I didn't know this...do you know the reason?

  • @elsat90 just old naval tradition

  • @elsat90 It's old tradition that large moving vehicles (boats, some cars, etc) are referred to as 'she'. Countries are often referred to as 'she' as well.

  • Two things, first there is a swiming pool because they need time to have fun.And second, nothing is unsinkable. Do we have to relive Titanic every time this happens.

  • o.O WTF!!!! why is there a swiming pool inside a sub

  • swimming pool?.........Usually u don't want water in a sub u want it out >XD

  • Why was there an inwards hole in the kursk

  • You should never call something "unsinkable".

It's just not a good idea.

  • And a sauna......Goodness...This is hilarious.....What a sub!!!

  • @concordejumbojet

    yea barrel of fun...

  • A swimming pool... in a SUB???? Hell now i've seen it all!

  • at least they didn't shoot each other like yankees do. ha "friendly fire"... apparently it wasn't that friendly.

  • @Ahmed2011April Really. You are saying that Russians NEVER have had friendly fire? Look into the Soviet armies competing to take Berlin. Many Russians died due to friendly fire.

  • In soviet Russia .....

  • Russia is their own worst enemy. They would easy to beat in a war with little effort as they always blow themselves up.

  • well actually the Titanic WAS thought as unsinkable and one designers said''that God himself couldn't sink this ship'' in less than 48 hours later Titanic was on the bottom of the sea!!!!!!!

however tyvm for uploading this great vid

  • the US sank the kursk with a submarine

  • @MrH1tler Oh tell us how this happened. If in fact your accusation is true, then why didn't the Russians mention it? I know; the USA is to blame for EVERYTHING bad.

  • russiea still could have saved them how can they not ask what the shock wave was wow you russiens are dumb

  • @sertox12345 first of its Russia, second off how are they suppost to know what it was when it was just vibrations waves?

  • omg nuke sub you use air ducks use in homes lol wow great work russa

  • russia=fail

  • wait, the russians still considered the US the enemy after the fall of the soviet union?

  • i can't believe they waited that long to call for an emergency.....you can't get ahold of anyone aboard the sub....duh. i be wondering sometimes about common sense.

  • 5:55...DAMN things like this make me wonder why ppl join the armed forces. you gotta lock youself in the room above the reactors.....insane. (sidenote: i can't stand this narrator's voice

  • GOD bless their souls!

  • how could such a video which puts a smile on my face have dislike?

  • russian idiots

  • Haha! i'm glad that Cusk or whatever the name of the submarine is destroy! YEAH! Just thank God! Atleast they didn't destroy the U.S Navy Ships or it might be another War. FUCK RUSSIA!

  • @Th3R3alPr0 And how old are you? 10? Cusk - hahaha .

  • @ravenmorgoth Chusk, and i'm 14 :) Because my Grandfather (Part of an Fleet *I don't know whats the name of his fleet* Rank - Brigdier General 5 Star was killed by a Russian Submarine) and you laugh, "hahaha" shut up he was the best person i ever meant.

  • @Th3R3alPr0 Obviously you dont understand the written message. If you try to write a serious comment, at least find out how to properly write the name of the submarine in question. Kursk. Matole.

  • Fat Girl...

  • interesting that the guy from daggerstan or from what ever stan is in the torpedo chamber/room thingy?

  • Captains wife is hot! So she's available now...?

  • WHAT IN THE WORLD DO U MEAN UNSINKABLE SUBMARINES ARE DESIGNED TO SINK WHAT DID THIS GUY MEMORIZE IN THE SCRIPT!

  • wow CO² filter that can't come into contact with water in submarine for pete's sake wtf!!!!

  • Never say its Unsinkable, Karma Is Very Bad

  • 46:16 oh shit

  • I remember watching this on TV, it had Ashton Smith as narrator, why isn't that the case here?

  • @PSshadow92 This is the British narrator. Ashton Smith is the American narrator.

  • Comment removed

  • @MigsDaRutt Why isn't his narration in more of Lengas32's videos?

  • typical "political Behavior" .. to destroy old or damaged weapons, by risking the life of humans, or in this case, the u-boat. Watch. USS forrestal, this case.. the difference is that if this happened in a West country, maybe the survivors escaped, because we call for help if it's nessesary.. this is a case ,typicall Soviet way... keep eveything secret. this happened in Chernobyl too.. Sweden discovered the disaster, few weeks later.. RIP Sailors....

  • 19:22 lord

  • second from disaster to secnd from nuclear disater

  • Yes, I am sure it is somehow the Russian government's fault for not calling in international rescuers immediately, despite the fact that all the crew were dead within only a few hours anyway.

And I am sure if such an accident would have happened on an American nuclear ballistic submarine we would have immediately called for international help, just like we always ask for international help in all of our disasters, just like we did at... and during... um...

  • @pop5678eye British helped locate the scorpion when he went down because they were the nearest friendly force in the area, the british and spanish helped to provide logistical support when the B52 crashed with the bomb, the DSRV's americans have stem from british tech in the LR5 which is older than avalon and mystic, same as the briths helped sweden build URF theres a few un noted occasions and some noted like USA's aid in the falklands in 1982 etc.

  • man i tell u right now if chuck norris was there with them this drama wouldnt happend at all he can actualy stay under water for more than 5 days and carry 5 to 6 people in same time he wouldv save all of them in couple houres needless to say he couldv prevent the explosion by blocking it with his bare hands they couldv borow him from USA it cost lot but they will be save if they had him on board .

  • It has been 12 years since this.

  • GOD DAMMIT WHY DIDN't THEY BLOW THE FREAKIN TANKS!! IM CONFUSED!!!

  • @purefatdude2 they couldnt too many crew members were either dead or wounded plus once the reactors are shut down its impossible 2 blow the ballast

  • @killman369547 oh really? so they were doomed from the start. you can't change anything if you can go back to the past right?

  • @purefatdude2 yes they were doomed the moment the torpedo exploded and no u caant change anything if you find a way into the past it would cause a paradox and alter history

  • @killman369547 its not impossible to do an E blow once reactors are shut down, the submarine has a natural bouancy and a reserve bouyancy, the submarine also stores compressed air for such an event, plus a forced shut down or shut down the sub would have switched over to emergency power, but given the damage at the front a Eblow probably wouldnt have done anything it was going to sink regardless, engineers can eblow subs try and drive up rather than rely on air alone.

  • Unsinkable?....Unfloatable.

  • @TheMaverickLucky7

Your officially stupid. Go back to pre-school dumbass

  • 20:22 Fail, there's the red "Recording" light from the camera on the phone xD.

  • R.I.P <3

  • what a poor guy, lock's himself in the reactor room when emergency happens.....

  • i love how the animation for the peter the great is a king george the fifth class battleship from ww2 lol

  • Lies it was sunk by a us sub that hit it with a mark 48 torpedo with a DU tip that cut through its hull and set off a chain reaction of the torpedoes sinking it.

  • He was in a rush to get married yet he has time to show his new wife a length tour of the sub? priority alert!

  • sink = hit the BOTTOM of the seabed... NOT..! SUBMERGE into water...

learn English properly before bitching the video, smartasses...!

  • @terenas1986 sink means goes under water

  • Russia at its best to kill their own people...

  • @etcpool WOW you Really are that STUPID

  • why is everthing that people say is "unsinkable"

  • A swimming pool inside a submarine...that seems kind of ironic...and ridiculous. XD

  • I quite like this narrator: very british :)

    just like me :)

  • "unsinkable" is clearly used in this show in to express the immensely unlikely event that the sub would succumb to such total disaster. Also, the word unsinkable was not applied to the Titanic by her engineers, construction workers, passengers, or even the company or crew that operated her. The term unsinkable came from an American newspaper article and caught on because it exacerbated the sensationalistic news of her sinking.

  • I'm starting to think russia just needs to forget about radio active stuff all together!

  • @pdgeman Make that: The world.

  • @pdgeman

radioactive is one word. It doesn't really matter, it's like saying "what ever" instead of "whatever"

  • @impostirevil I like cake and grits.

  • 12 FUCKING HOURS AFTER THEY WERE SILENT? WDF WERE THEY THINKING AFTER SOMEONE DOESNT RESPOND AT A VITAL MISSION WITH EXPLOSIVES but AFTER 12 HOURS? WDF!

  • Why Do They Put NUCLEAR REACTORS In A Submarine ?

  • @LambosWebs Because nuclear reactors are incredibly efficient, completely safe if treated properly, never haver to be refueled during the Sub's lifetime and allow UNLIMITED range on the sub - that is, a nuclear sub can last underwater for 25 years (at least) - the only limiting factor to its endurance is the amount of food stored. Diesel powered subs, in contrast, can spend only a few days underwater until they must be re-fueled.

  • @blueb0g and because of this a disaster on a nuclear submarine could never happen.

  • @buffm0nk3y Did I ever say that? No. Disasters can happen anywhere, any time, no matter how fail safe the system is. We just have to reduce the likelyhood, and, on a nuclear sub, the chances are very slim. You're more likely to have an accident on a diesel powered sub but I never, ever said a disaster could not occur onboard a nuclear sub. Did you even read my post?

  • @LambosWebs Why do they put them in satellites?

  • @LambosWebs Because submarines use a lot of energy. If they didn't have enough power to operate, or if it was too slow, then it'd be an easy target.

  • @LambosWebs nuclear reactors allow the sub to stay underwarter for months on end unlike a u boat in ww2 which could only stay underwater foe afew hours because its engine needs oxygen and somewhere to hold the exhaust plus an engine makes a terrible amount of noise that can be picked up by an enemy whereas reactors make little to no noise at all and when you boil it down the noise the sub produces or doesnt is the difference between mission success or destruction

  • admiral popov like the cheap vodka ? lol

  • THE AMERICAN AND RUSSIANS ARE STILL IN THE COLD WAR, ITS JUST CALLED THE "SECRET COLD WAR"

  • How could they say its "the unsinkable"? It's a SUBMARINE for pete's sake!!! It's supposed to SINK!!!

  • @THEMaverickLucky7 - Means One Way Ticket - Sink and this is the end:)

  • @THEMaverickLucky7

Lol. Not sure it's meant to do it permanently though ;)

  • @THEMaverickLucky7 They said the same thing with the Titanic. Lesson learned: Don't call anything unsinkable. It tends to sink.

  • @THEMaverickLucky7 When referring to submarines, I think that the word "unsinkable" means that they are unable to be "trapped" underwater and consequently, unable to sink to the ocean floor permanently. In other words, whatever happens to them, they are able to ascend to the surface of the water again.

  • i just cant believe it took 12 hours to sound the alarm, i mean after 5 other subs report in and 1 doesn't how can you think everything is fine.

  • I remember this as it happened, at the time I believed the trapped men would be rescued, unfortunately that was not to be the case.

  • 13:53 unsinkable? UNsinkable? UN-BLOODY-SINKABLE?!?!?! THAT'S WHAT THE SAID ABOUT THE H.M.S. TITANIC YOU ARSES!!!! AND THEAT WENT VERY WELL DIDN'T IT?

    Huh!...humans...

  • @zamroc100 RMS Titanic nitwit

  • @NodFlareon my bad! That just goes to show how daft humans can be!

  • @zamroc100 R.M.S Titanic, as far as I know, only british warships have HMS

  • @zamroc100 if you have to deal with the Sea, the word UNsinkable, simply don't exist

  • 14:53 unsinkable? UNsinkable? UN-BLOODY-SINKABLE?!?!?! THAT'S WHAT THE SAID ABOUT THE H.M.S. TITANIC YOU ARSES!!!! AND THEAT WENT VERY WELL DIDN'T IT?

    Huh!...humans...

  • @zamroc100

They never said that about the titanic.

  • @ritzbowl No they did! Soon after it was built, it was so huge they believed that it would never sink. So they nicknamed it 'the unsinkable' ...it didn't live up to it's nickname...

If you want proof, look it up in a search engine or something.

  • @zamroc100

They said it was almost unsinkable, and after it sunk this obviously spread around and like other urban legends details were changed which made the story more interesting. the unsinkable ship that sunk sounds better than the almost unsinkable ship that sunk.

  • To have it all go wrong that fast...and then to be trapped in there knowing it could all blow any second...terrible...

  • Lol, scourging the wreck of TITANIC!?!?!?!
