I believe Cassandra had love right under her nose and didn't realize or didn't care to consider it because she thought she was in love with Simon, but it was merely an infatuation she had for Simon.

Anyways Steven (Henry Cavill) overshadowed both of the other guys in my opinion lol and I was so hoping they would end up together :(.
