  • lcve the first song!!! Who sings it? Nice JK also!!! I just got one 2 months ago @ LOVE IT!!!

  • hey awesome video!! hey have a question i am planning on buying a jk how ever not sure if the 6 speed is the better choice or if the auto is just as equal? if you have any opinions on this that would be great!!

    thanks

  • while i drive a 6-speed and love it, i have been wheeling for years with sticks and it's what i know best. however, if you're new to wheeling, an automatic is much easier to use on the trail and i might recommend it instead.

  • hmmm, for $5000, you might be able to pick up a 97 TJ. as for how jeeps fair, i have a TJ with 146,000 on it and it still runs like new. the 4.0L engine is a tank and you will be fine with it.

  • Nice Vid Brother!!!

  • Nice editing! what program are you using??

    Cheers!

    Jeff

  • thanks - cindy just uses adobe premier :)

  • Cindy?? haha my gf Cindy does video aswell.

  • whats the first song in the video?

  • le disco by shiney toy guns

  • thanks lol

  • Knights of Cydonia, good choice. I am a modified FJ cruiser driver myself but still a jeep lover. Good video, thanks for editing and posting!

  • nice footage and production. timing is everything; good job.

  • mechanical masterpiece! 5 stars

  • Hooray.... for Jeep , for building a vehicle that gets the masses out wheeling with only their deep check books and BOLT-ON mods....

Tread lightly and remember real Jeep's are built not bought....

  • we use cb radios

  • Jeeps are so sexy...wish I had one.. =(

  • song is??

  • the first one is le disco by shinny toy guns, the second is knights of cydonia by muse and the closing track is end has a start by the editors

  • ZX2ManDave: If you're tired of driving a stick, then get an auto. I drove stickshift cars for a long time and was ready for an auto tranny. My wife insisted that stick was better for jeeps, but I've heard several people disagree. I prefer the auto personally.

loralee347, your comment typically comes from ppl who don't own a JK and just read about it. The motor is quite capable of doing everything it needs to do. Sure it could be more powerful but it's nothing to scoff at.

    BTW i love the vids!

  • Automatic Vs Stickshift? I want another Jeep, i had one years ago back in the 90s and miss it. But i dont know if i can handle another stickshift. All ive ever owned is stickshifts and my left foot/ankle is starting to give me problems.

So, does the automatic work well for mild to medium off-roading? I wouldnt be doing nothing major, no major boulder climbing or anything. Just a daily driver and occasionally a trip through the woods, mudding or snow.

  • I have a 6-speed but have seen the autos do extremely well on the trail. And, depending on who you talk to, some would argue better than a stick.

  • that's Jk's are blocking? air blocking?... the tires size??? 31x12,5 or 32"? R:15 or 16?

    th!!!

  • wayalife = the "wayoflife" forum administrator??

  • ummm, yes, that would be me :)

  • whats the name of the song pls tell me

  • which song? i'm pretty sure they have been listed before. please check the comments below.

  • jk are cool but the motor is a gutless minivan motor. Deffinately needs a v8 like a 4.7. Its ashame they are so underpowered.

  • dgrandfie: You can go with 33s and experience no rubbing with the exception of full articulation at the front wheels. You can see plenty of stock unlimited JKs on the jeepforum and jk-forum and you'll see plenty of folks running 33s with no lift. I'm looking to do a 2.5" BB and run 35s.

  • The name of the song is Le Disko and its by Shiny Toy Guns

  • I will tell you this. I am like one of your biggest fans. I watch all of your videos and keep up on your web site. • Looks like a nice trail run and I love you website.

  • i just got a jk(my first new vehicle ever!!!!!) i think i am going to get a 2" lift and 33's, i was just wondering what kind of engine mods you had?

  • beautiful jeeps!!!!!! excelent trail...!!

  • it's called "knights of cydonia" and it's by muse. :)

  • whats the thing hanging over the backseat on the roll bar, thats not part of the hard top is it?

  • it's an aftermarket cargo basket.

  • it makes the jeep look more badass.great vids by the way, u guys look like u have alot of fun

  • thats was awsome jeeps rock:P

  • But the Rubicon 4Dr White has Driveline modification or not? With 3" Full-Traction is possible? Thanks!

  • Both white Rubicon 4 doors in this video are running stock drivelines on the 3" Full Traction Ultimate lift.

  • Fantastic video! Great work! I was thinking about getting a Wrangler Unlimited, and videos like this only encourage me! :)

  • Great wheeling. Does the new placement of the muffler get in the way or banged up any?

  • yeah, it takes a beating but no real big deal. if you really want to get it out of the way, a lot of guys are starting to relocate them along side the frame rail and drive shaft.

  • good video...one of the best i've seen. the songs fit the video real well. good editing. keep it up.

    tacoma owner
