I'm a patriotic Chinese but born and raised here in UK I do agree with this concept of a fragile superpower in fact from US experience they had plenty of ups and downs. Despite US is in decline with an arising power, the US I think is still a very power country and very enviromentally matured. Also, yes China has become a very powerful country and as east asia as a whole there's something most of you don't know, Mao Zedong was the most powerful leader of China but todays gov' hasn't surpass Mao.

I truly don't think there was any nefarious intent on part of the U.S. bombing the embassy. But who knows? In anycase it wasn't a prelude to war.
