@SnowkStudios Be encouraged! Art is in investment. $20/mo is merely a couple value meals at Micky D's or a date night at the movies. I think if you really see value in his course you should find a way to get the money. Eventually, it will pay for itself if you're focused and determined enough. Best of wishes!
the drawing was really cool but i always never know when to stop when i think im done, so i'd just keep going, next thing you know, i end up messing it up and throwing it away...
@matthew39arch... I would be easier to explain the placement of the front of the ear begins at the centerline (as measured from tip of nose to back of head) and then extends rearward.
@SnowkStudios LAZY!!! :3 <3 lol and yes the sub is worth it. very helpful tons of videos and you get a dvd. there's so many videos you don't know where to start lol
wheew.. that drawing is hot in photoshop.. i use sketchbookpro 2011 to sketch the only thing i dislike is they dont have the blending tool that photoshop has..that is awesome drawing.
The hardest part of this is that with something like this, when it's right, it doesn't 'look' right until you're mostly done. Lovely tutorial! Thanks!
@matthew39arch don't use short cuts and stuff in videos there's plenty of people who don't know them and when you do the short cuts you're most likely going to get spammed with comments asking how you did that. your videos are very helpful because you show step by step. so please keep it that way.
old member of your site. and loved it but had to leave cause of money problems
Lol, actually most of the changes you made to make it more realistic would've made a great caricature

You are so good in what you do - no matter whether it is traditional drawing or digital drawing. Thanks a lot for sharing with us.

I think you should try painter as it kicks ass at emulating traditional media. And I think it'll open the eyes of a lot of your traditional viewers.
Workflow is king.

I would also argue that ear placement has an effect on full figure figure drawings as well. Not just portraits.

@CT2507 What are you saying it looks flat as fuck.
Arnaudoviq 6 months ago
@Arnaudoviq these are subtle shadings. gives a refinement and a sensitivity about the drawing that goes very well with the model actualy.

dont underestimate hotkeys :)

@befrey Matt was speaking sarcastically. Speeding up his work in a tutorial such as this would be pointless.
