I just left a comment on Amazon asking if someone knows where I could get a vinyl copy of MOUNTAIN MAMA. I also have an 8 track, and a cassette I made from the 8 track.. What a great unknown album. I live in Nashville, and saw her perform in a local park many years ago. I lived in a local apartment, and met her at the mailbox once. We spoke, but at the time I didn't realize who she was. I have BACKWOODS WOMAN on vinyl, but it's not near as good as MOUNTAIN MAMA. I wish I had bought a copy.
I still have Dianne Davidson's 1st 3 LPs, Baby, Backwoods Woman, & Mountain Mama (vinyl) in pristine condition. What a great voice. Still untouched by whomEVER is now singing. Met her a few times, and she signed them for me!

her cd - 'Breaking all the rules' is a gem.
Had met D., a number of times while living in the states. She is warm, honest and down to earth.
