if you want them to light up at the same time get a lighter and some deodorant, light the lighter and spray the deodorant and you have your own flame thrower. BE CAREFUL

hey man why dont you just get some rope tie little pieces to the rope tie those little pieces to each sparkle and the light it and if you want to burn the rope better spray it with aerasole or dip it in petrol

for the fuse get a piece of cardboard put some holes in it so all the sparklers can stick out of it in your tube then pure some black powder down the tube on to the sparklers then put a double fuse in it should work if you need more explaining tell me and i will make a vid ok

lol the funny thing about aluminum, is that it melts it too XD u need carbon foil, that shit dont burn for nothin

@wiltse0 Carbon Foil, or Paper would do the trick. i have mentioned on other videos that Sparklers burn at 1800 degrees, and aluminium melts at 1200. while Paper is carbon based and melts at 3500 degrees. paper will burn how ever but lucky the sparklers ignition drains all the oxygen out of the area which prevents burning until after the rocket has finished. CHEMISTRY FTW!

@nitrodavid but your wrong about that, it doesnt use hardly any of the oxygen in the air, as it has its own oxidizer in the mix, thats how they work under water :P

Hey for anyone who knows what Estes engines right (model rocket engines) If you Get a 18mm motor (A,B and C motors) if you compact least 12 sparklers worth of sparkler powder in the used motor ( make sure to claen out the motor first , do not wet just scrape and sand the inside) and use Clumping kitty litter for a end cap. This has worked but im still working on making the fuel better cause it's not powerful . Im thinking of purifying Calcium hypochlorite and adding it to the mix .

i have tried that, the main problem i had involved the kitty litter exploding out before much thrust is developed

cut sparklers into bits the right size then just use some foil to attach them all together alternatively soak a rag in petrol and light it then put that on top

get some sparklers grind them in to dust then make a pile of that dust add a drop of water to the dust then mix till a paste then get some string and cover the string in the paste leave to dry then there is some fuse this also works with matches heads

with that u jus make a sparkler flare and put it in the middle of them all then when that ignites all the sparks will light all the other ones

haha for the lighting just put over stove run yo ass out side and have a launch pad set up for easy use haha go for it

from my research i found the major flaw is in the case. the sparklers burn somewhere between 1000 to 1600° C and aluminium melts at 660. what just happened is it acted like a normal sparkler melted the aluminum and fizzled. while paper which is essentualy carbon melts at 3500, it does burn how ever but when the sparkler is lit there will be no oxygen inside left for the paper to burn. i have to do some experemnts to get he right wall size to enusre it is light enuff to fly but strong

if u want them to go off at the same time get a series of sparklers get all of the heads into the middle and make sure the sparklers with the heads touching make sure that they touch the rocket fuses the u light the heads of the middle ones the will all buren at the same time until they hit the rockets fuse then bam off they go

the problem with that, is i needed the fuse to be flexible to wrap around.

btw this thing just turned into a massive fireball flare. the energy of the rockets was to much for a aluminum casing and just burned

you could prime the ends of the sparkler with BP, and if that's not hot enough, you could use hotter prime. then just use regular visco or something to light it.

Dude, use one of the sparklers as a fuse! worked a treat for my sparkler bomb and it makes a long fuse
