  • what a load of crap.

  • the last guy who owned it was very interesting, he insured it for five times its worth, and then there was that accidental fire!!!!

  • Great video, thanks for sharing.

  • I remember reading about Borley rectory when I was a kid, it was in a lot of the books on haunted locations that I pored thru at the local library.

  • go to borley, and stare at the site of the rectory, it might appear....

  • that harry price guy made a good living out of this.

  • By far the scariest thing about this clip is that bloody awful Mummerset accent!

  • 1:42 I can't sleep animore D:

  • There is a lot in this that was left out. Plus there is no proof of a nunnery ever being in the area.

  • Do ghosts get really bloody bored ? I mean wandering around the same spot for hundreds of years, no nightclubs, PlayStations, holidays in the sun, ... you're bound to play tricks on people lol

  • oh no ):

  • Harry price was a faker, he faked much of the stuff at Borley

  • awsum documentary

  • I don't care if Borley, or any other ghost stories, is ever considered false, because that will never take away my passion and craving for spooky, eerie, and mystical tales. This "kid" should remain within everyone no matter how old you are. If it doesn't, you're missing out on a lot of excitement and thrill to keep an open mind!

  • @puppyloveforu

all the ghost storeis in the world cannot be false. that would mean EVERYONE hwo has ever had a paranormal experience is lying. i had one - i saw my moms doppelganger in my kitchen when i was 12. so trust me, they exist!!

  • @safarigurl150 I'd 3 experiences when i was young. 2 was seeing them in person. I couldn't see the face but just the shape, 1 experienced in the public toilet at night. I think my dog seen it too in my house. He seldom barks but one night, around 10pm. He bark at my fridge, then, he walked to the 2nd room, bark at the curtains. I couldn't see a thing but I'm not sure why he did that. I guess it was a spirit in my house! I'm not scare co'z one day I will turn to a ghost! haa!

  • @treistay

lol...true we all become ghosts when we die hehe.....yep theyre def real

  • man this old guy rocksssssssssss respect :D

  • I want the old guy to read me bedtime stories!! (Whine, whine!) He's really a cool storyteller.

  • this is so cheesy........

  • actually the bones were identified as pig bones by local farmer, and harry price fabricated alot of the evidence.

  • ghosts and borley go together like a fool and belife in harry price...what crap

  • @dretety But it's fun crap.

  • I read about Borley Rectory last year and it made me start believe in ghosts....scary stuff!

  • The narrater sounds like some one from The Shire: off to Mordor Mr Frodo

  • Ooooo arrrrrr gerroff my Lan'.... Fantastic narration from someone who is clearly (not) local to Borley.

  • There must be nothing more beautiul than the English countryside....

  • what's albus dumbledore doing in this video? ^^ lol

  • @wobbuboo i was asking my self the same question :D

  • Sir

I am thinking of visiting ( have already been there some 10 years ago) Borley Church and surrounding areas next June. We are from the Stables Film Club, Hastings. Could we meet please?

    My e mail is

    crkuka2004@yahoo.co.uk

  • defintely haunted - too much evidence not to be

  • he looks like dumbledore

  • There is much evidence for the existence of the phantom nun, and it may indeed have been her bones in the cellar. But according to Price's books and research carried out since then, there is no reliable record in England anywhere of nuns being bricked up alive. I'm no defender of religion, trust me, just that as a historian I want to get to the truth of what lay behind the phenomena. I recommend The Borley Rectory Companion, Peter Underwood's newest book on the case for anyone interested.

  • I want a fire truck for Christmas!!

  • what a way to die bricked up in a cellar

  • i should probably clarify my point. i wasn't referring to ghosts but to the sadism of priests and nuns. walling people up and burning them to death etc. anyone who's attended a school run by the church will testify to the sadistic tendencies of monks and nuns.

  • that is because in the past the church has been known to use pretty much any way nessiary to stick to the rules. even if it means walling up a person alive at least they didn't break church law.

  • why does the church attract more evil sadistic bastards than any other organization.

  • beacause the church teaches to not to believe in spirirts or ghosts as some people call them. so its like like a magnet saying: " we don't believe in ghosts come prove us wrong." shows that the ole saying can be true, opposites attract.

  • To ImRightAndYoureWrong: It's more like a manifestation of the "evil sadistic bastards' " egos. They either want to quick-cheat their way to salvation (by participating in a church), or worse---they actually think they're holy enough to take over everyone else and BE the church leaders (LOL now wouldn't that make sense to a twisted mind?).

  • The remains were that of a pig not a human according to local farmers, as for the disturbances in the garden is caused by kids messing round on halloween, finally this video ends with the lame line

"There is an underlying tension of evil... and death abundant in the whole area" both terrible and funny at the same time.

  • I knew nothing of the practice of "walling" people up until Ghost Hunters Int'l did shows in Europe. What a horrid practice and it seems it was used a lot.

  • im going on saturday night...eeek!!

  • so am i

  • well? did you go?

  • well cuz of my dads girlfriends

ex husband, who still owned half of the house,we moved away, but she never sold it. so now its just

staying there,i still have some stuff left in my room, things ment to be thrown away. it just makes

it scarier. ive been there after this and i still get that horrible feeling of being watched when im

there.but well after we moved out of that house, ive never been quite just as scared of the dark,or

felt like i was being watched

  • @AinaIsabella cool stories. did you ever get over the girl staring at you?

  • I know the house that

stood there before burnt down, and someone killed him/herself in the room just outside of mine, but i havent heard anything about a young girl, is freaky i cud see all of her, holding a teddybear and

all,but i cudnt quite makeo ut the face. she had short curly hair.

  • i had done so many times, turning around and not seeing anything. well my dad told me like 3 years ago (im 21 now) that he once heard footsteps on the second floor that stopped outside of my door. My dad isnt that kinda person who believes in ghost, but he did think that was strange, cuz he said no one was home, and he even went up to check. and he says he can tell the difference between footsteps and just boards cracking.

  • EmilyLawrence94: I once lived in a house that i believe is haunted, i was between 7-11 years old when i lived there, i never felt safe in that house, i always kept a light on in my bedroom. and i cudnt sleep with my back towards the door. now im a person who cant lay still in bed, so of course i had to face the wall sometimes. one night i felt like someone was behind me, i looked around and saw this little girl in the doorway starring at me, i closed my eyes, and fell asleap completely terrified.

  • lol at the picture of the nun at 1:45

  • The sentences for the monk and nun are far less christian than the acts they commited!

  • Comment removed

  • LOL I was eating spaghetti while watching this... funnily my plate just started looking like the skull at the end of the vid.

    Oh well, food is food!

  • the old guy looks like santa

  • @gigglesilly17 8D ???????

  • @womblediehard XD :D haha Much Love

  • Harry Price probably charged them a hairy price as well.

  • saw a ghost here 10 years ago very very scary place recommend it to any ghost hunter

  • What did You see? cos I'm going there soon.

  • this is the only sight to me that has real actual activity

  • I'm really into The Borley Rectory. I'm not that afraid of strange things. I'm determined to actually see a ghost in real life and I will not stop until I do.

  • This is such a sad story, but true, harry price is well famous, we filmed in Clifton Hall Manor UK for the new scary dance track poltergeist,we were told the place was well haunted and active today, we got footage of something that we could not explain, check out the pic that appears twice in the video, also we have noticed strange noises in our own homes since filming, well spooky.......
