I just came up with an idea, someone tell me if it already exists: When you buy into a product, or you purchase/ become committed to a product, you are given a key (like a serial number) that you can enter at said product's (showtime on demand for example) website, thus causing any ads for that product to be disabled on your device. might sound like a bit of work, but seems worth it with how much everybody complains about ads on youtube.
