It deals with how we never truly know the other people in our lives - we only know our observations of them. The heroine confronts people she's known for years, and their behavior steadily defies her expectations more and more until she doubts that they're "real."

Theres really not that much bloodshed. I mean, in episode three when Lena was basically pouring blood out of her eyes, now that was a lot, but in the rest of the show, its really not that much. Just a few cuts here and there.
