I live in rural Kentucky where one must make interesting food or drive a far distance to get it. Thank you for this series with your mother! Now my pasties will be authentic.
are the potatoes cooked when you place them in pastry ???? Im American and I love British food ..I tried cornish pasty in a British pub and I loved it sooo much.. thanks....your a good Mom....
you have no idea how much i enjoyed watching that! i live in essex and my nearest oggy oggy shop has closed down, so id given up all hope of ever getting a real cornish pasty ever again! but now all is solved! i was down in helston last summer, a place just south of it called godolphin in think... lovely part of the country.

It's the dough I was afraid to trying, never been much of a baker. But your videos went ahead and showed me it isn't to hard to try.
Thanks, bud.

Thanks for this! They have been brought to North America also - I hear that there are many places that serve Cornish pasties in Michigan.
