  • the greatest most moving xmas song ever. brings me to tears everytime........

  • yamaha pss-680 greatest comedy instrument ever!!!!!!!

  • OOPH

  • I know John Shuttleworth is tongue in cheek and all that, but this is one of the most moving Christmas songs I know

  • Sometimes when it is not Christmas Time, I watch this video and pretend that it is Christmas Time.

  • very uplifting a real festive classic

  • i dont think u should be laughing at him. hes doing his best. at least he is trying.

  • Who would have thought this Guy used to be Jilted John , very clever , sadly some people do not get the Irony of this character .

  • mint.!!

  • has anyone got a copy of this?

  • It was 1993 actually

  • has vic got a big dildo

  • The dedication to Patricia Macmahon at the beginning of the song is beyond genius.

  • Very moving.

  • Vic , Bob and (jilted) John Shuttleworth near genius add count arthur beyond genius

  • Very near genius...lovely!

  • Is this the same show that Bob watched an old episode of university challenge to pick a new hairstyle?

If it is, does anybody know where I can find it?

It used to be on youtube, but seems to have been removed. Anybody know of another version knocking about?

    Cheers

  • I think Bright Eyes ripped off this tune when they wrote "Reinvent The Wheel".

  • LOL. The thought of Mr Oberst ripping off Graham Fellows has tickled me pink.

  • Don't talk to me about Reeves and his dodgy keyboard sales. The man should be reported to Trading Standards. I walked through miles of Christmas Eve snowdrifts to buy a Yamaha for my one armed lesbian son, Rufus only to be laughed at and told there was no organ for sale by that cruel television trickster. Just plain cruel.

  • you're not funny

  • I too tried to buy an organ once from Vic Reeves, terrible man. I sympathise with John

  • you lying git

  • i believe he got the Ivor Novello award for this track.

  • had this on vhs for years....then i lost the casette!.....a night with vic and bob was the most christmassy thing id seen in years....love jilted john making a cameo

  • That man sure knows his way around that organ

  • John: "Nice knock-about quality to it. Not very funny though."

  • Vic: "You're better at going than I am."

  • It's a really moving song actually

    boo hoo

  • TUNE!!!

  • Shuttleworth is a god.

  • Type in TEES BALLY FIBBER into You Tube for some more northern humour. You will NOT be disappointed.

  • From Jilted John to John Shuttleworth ....A LEGEND !

  • and what a lovely organ it is

  • The show was aired Christmas/New Year 1993. I have the whole show on video. Some great clips.

  • 3 Legends In a room. Can it get much better?!

  • John/Graham hasn`t sold out (shooting stars again anyone? zzzzzz...) or gone stale like Vic and Bob tho.

  • god-like...

  • classic

  • re: mp3 of Christmas Orphan, its downloadable on the official Shuttleworth site on side 1 of 'Seven Songs by Sunset'.

  • You have no idea how hard it is to get hold of a recording or mp3 of Christmas Orphan. Try it. for five years.

  • It's incredibly easy to get a copy of Christmas Orphan... there's a version on The Yamaha Years.

  • Ah, but not the same version as this one

  • Legends

  • at home with vic and bob...

    great tv
