wtf... im getting dae ja vu of dae ja vu of me looking at comments looking for this same comment and then someone responds with the smae thing... WHY AM I HAVING SO MUCH DAE JA VU
@hunter020796 aye... I can relate there, but its good to be able to play that high... there are tuba solos that go pretty high, if you can play low and high then your the tuba player to be.
The bottom line would lay fine for me. Don't know about the top.
That's alto clef so middle C is the middle line of the staff. That part starts on the A# above middle C. I can play that high, but I usually don't.
What you should do is play everything down an octave and record it with audacity. Then you can move everything up an octave and even speed it up if you want.
I might record Czardas at quarter = 80 and speed it up to 210 just for kicks.
oh, and i learned how to play pedal Bb as a freshmen. i didnt start playing tuba until half way through 7th grade. before that i played french horn. over the summer i picked up bass trombone for my jazz class. i have good tone on both instruments. i play guitar, drums, alto horn, baritone/euphonium, piano and the two i already mentioned. do you do multiphonics? sometimes i mess around with those for fun.
iambrown33, im a sophmmore in highschool. i can play 5 octaves of Bb and 5 octaves of F on tuba. i can do 6 octaves of each on bass trombone. post a video of yourself. you play professionally? not just in college?
6 octaves..... really??? really? because honestly i know a kid who went to state who could play three and a half. And 5 f's on tuba? yeah maybe if your were that win. post a vid, let's see.
i like how you dummies was playin a line thats supposed to be in alto clef like a line of bass clef notes. the reason they look like B's is because wherever the center of that clef is marks where C is so whoever was playing that top line was trying waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to hard
Yes....in fact I can.....I have a range of five octaves of Bb. I will admit that not many people can play that high though. But I am a professional tubist that is a freshmen in collage. I actually get payed to play so I have to be as good as I can. Nevertheless, I was able to hit a Bb4 my freshmen year in high school. Point is.....this sucks....unless they are trying to be funny...if they are, then they have accomplished that.
I could never play this.. I can't even play a high C >.<
i suck with high notes lol.....

akjgo1994 3 years ago
Not true about the degree, nevertheless, dumbass over here is not in college, and not a professional by any means.
Also, it is spelled tubist, not "tubaist".

So as a "collage" student you are "payed"? Also, you are a "freshmen"?
Somehow I doubt that a college student would spell as badly as you do.
