  • the 60s-70s were the Modern Age. they were also the Golden Age of Cinema throughout

the World. Today's times have no class. Maybe more money, But no art, no class.

  • Richard Johnson was once considered to be James. So was Rod Taylor.

  • Dude. This is amazing.

  • The film clips appear to be from "Some Girls Do" (1969). What's the connection to Girl from UNCLE -- a soundtrack record? This Brazil-flavored music never appeared in the series.

  • @jlovebirch Is Some Girls Do a sequel to Deadlier than the Male by any chance? I recognise one of the guys in the clip as being the hero character from that other film.

  • @tropicalcatdetective -- Yes, it is a sequel to the much better 1967 original. The Bulldog Drummond character from the 20s-30s was taken out of mothballs and given a modern 007-style makeover to capitalize on the then-hot spy film craze.

  • Love all of it!!

  • I watched those two Bulldog Drummond movies because of this video...lol

    Daliah Lavi is soooo hot.

  • Oh my Gosh - the one with the dark hair is Dahlila Lavi!

  • what a clean crisp sound...gimme a time machine

  • thank you to mollyvision for sending me here, great video

  • You are a genius and can capture the most of this blessed era. Who are you? I want to buy you a drink!

  • What kind of cars is that ? A sunbeam Alpine ??

  • O Yea. I forgot to mention that the stewardess who releases the Door, also appeared as a stewardess in the Steve McQueen movie "BULLITT".

  • The stunning Joanna Lumley at 0:35! ♥

  • Wow... Any chance you could list the films that were sampled? I'm intrigued enough to track these down...

  • What a feeling... so nice.

  • Great video, with some of my fave actresses including Daliah Lavi and Joanna Lumley. I think this is 'Some girls do', Great.

  • i love the look he gives her at :25 with the music fitting perfectly! great video!!!!

  • I keep finding these gems all over YouTube..great stuff, Jerry!

  • @01:17 Oh man! ! jrrylpz you do have a sense of humor & timing. As the chorus sings so does the unfortunate man with his voice synchronized to the music. Awesome!

  • I've watched about 4 of your videos-- you're a genius. Perfection. The woman in the hat at the beginning was in "The Silencers" with Matt Helm.

  • It isn't Girl from UNCLE but it was diverting. Recognized Daliah Lavi so, this is probably "The Spy with the Cold Nose" (1966), a Bond knockoff, and maybe some of "Some Girls Do" from '69. Nicely done.

  • It´s not possible to decide what 1960s had that we haven´t now with same style and stunning details: maybe the cars, maybe those women... everyone and everything look so wonderful that we cannot take out our eyes from your channel. Thank you for sharing with us more one delightful moment!

  • @EduarquiRJ muito obrigado!

  • @EduarquiRJ Not being born in the 60's to me it is a case of originality. The 60's were fraught with Social controversey. Kennedy's, MLK, assasinations. the Viet Nam war. Equal rights, civil right. The Cuban Missile crisis between the USA & USSR. The Walk on the Moon. O yea, and espionage, Thats just the USA . This may create alot of artistic inspiration. What do you think jrrylpz ?

  • @EduarquiRJ Your so damn right dude!!!

  • @anticitoyen1

Thanks for answering, since last time I wrote those words I became MORE fan than ever about cars and women from sixties!

  • @EduarquiRJ So true. The whole package just works.

I think that the analogue production in both film and music plays a crucial role also.

Both used tape and you get that wonderful warm sound and vision.

  • REALLY love your channel....WOW

  • Fantastic tune and great looking women with class. What more could a guy want?!

  • Dreamy & wicked, fantastique!

    Another winner, Jerry.

  • Wow, the girl from U.N.C.L.E. w/ a bossa nova theme song... (the dress and hairstyle @ 2.20....tres chic!) 5* thanks, Jerry!!

  • Wow!

    great!

  • Glad you like it!

  • Fantastic! More please Jerry!

  • Thanks man!

  • I love this way!

  • Cool!

  • Something about this makes me crave a cigarette and a martini.

  • Have one for me!

  • Hey Jerry .... have to agree with you . Dimitri's remix has a very different feel to it whereas this is more fitting to the time period concerned. Great videos and sounds as ever . Was Dean Martin in the silencers as Matt Helm or am I getting mixed up ?

  • Thanks man. Yes he was, but this vid has clips from his other Matt Helm movie, 'The Ambushers'.

  • Caro Zio! La tua classe è inimitabile!

  • Ringrazio il mio amico!

  • The song and video are tres chic! I want to do my hair like the girl at 1:59!

  • The girl at 0:54 is the spitting image of my ex, and I'm sure that she would also like to finish me off like that....

  • ahaha wow Jer!

  • again a nice editing job, sir....see Dimitri From Paris - Un Very Stylish Fille

  • Thanks again man. Dimitri's remix is OK, but I prefer the original.

  • thank you soooo much Jer!

I love this music and that time so much! too bad I was only 6 years old in '66! else I may have been an international spy much sooner! ha!

thanks again you are the best!

  • Glad you liked it! It is from the movies "Some Girls Do", "The Silencers" and a couple small clips.

  • good i shall look at some girls do...i think i saw the silencers.,...buona serata....
