So, I can clone a 2tb hdd (500gb used) to a 600gb hdd with this tool? I want to clone to a faster, but smaller drive. Then after the clone I want to partition 600gb, or so on old HDD and have a backup on that. I am stumped a bit on tips 2 and 3 from the webpage. I plan to use the clone as my OS drive and format the old OS drive then partition a chunk for backup. If I just switch my cloned HDD to system, boot, page file and crash dump in bios is that all I need?
I've used other Easeus products before and like most of them. Haven't used this one yet and wanna try it out soon, the problem is I don't wanna clone my hardrive as shown in this video. Instead, I want to backup my entire system to my external HDD, and then restore from it when I need to. What option would I need to choose? Right now i'm using Acronis but I find it annoying to use due to its interface....
i just used this to clone my drive because i have a bigger one and now it is saying my 1Tb hard drive only has 150Gb??? whats going on with that please reply!!!

Yay! I was able to connect brand new 2.5" SATA disk to a USB port of my Toshiba Notebook,
and clone the internal HDD to this larger size USB HDD.
and remove the old internal HDD, and put the newly cloned HDD, and voila!
it works!
few thing to keep in mind though.
don't forget to shut down the Windows, after the cloning is complete.
once you physically replace the HDD, and power up for the first time,
make sure to set up bios by pressing F2 while powering up.

once you enter bios setup, all you need to do is save and exit,
since bios will automatically recognized new HDD.
and start up Windows, and Windows will also recognize new HDD,
and ask you to restart the Windows.
and that's it.

would disk work with external USB hard disk?
I have a notebook, and obviously you can not intall another hard disk internally.
so, would it be possible to clone the internal hard disk to USB hard, and then
remove the internal and replace it with cloned USB hard?
also, can it clone a USB hard to another USB hard?

does the destination disk (2TB) have to be same size as the source disk (500GB) considering HDD cloning?

Great "1-click" program!
I clone the 60GB SSD to 120GB SSD under Windows 7 in 15 minutes.
No need Boot CD.
