  • beautiful rendition. and to think that Jackson Browne wrote this song when he was just 16...incredible!

  • "These Days" is a song written by Jackson Browne. It was first recorded by Nico, with Browne playing guitar on it on her album. later Gregg Allman covered it, and finally Browne himself did. All 3 played it in three distinctly different musical styles.Browne was only 16 years old when he wrote it and had no record contract yet, which is why In the mid-to-late 1960s Browne was pitching his material to various artists and publishing houses to become better known so he might get a contract.

  • Goosebumps. Very good rendition (gladly forgiving the turned around lyrics! lol)

  • What planet is that guitar from?

  • Why are 99% of her videos live? I'd prefer to see some more of her real videos before I jump outta a plane and start stalking her.

  • this chick is so damn amazing, i have been checkin her vids out all day and this is such a classic song, you can just feel her channeling nico as she plays, eyes closed and in the moment. i am in love.

  • i think...she looks like a waif in this video :(

  • MAI WAIFU?

  • 1. thats not a jaguar at all, i have no clue what that is. not a fender for sure

    2. this song was made and preformed by NICO, im pretty sure cause ive always known it by her, and how that jackson brown thing happend idk, how can you say a girl in BERLIN covered a song that you havnt even recorded yet.

  • it was actually written by jackson browne

  • @y3k23k He wrote it when he was 16 years old according to him! Talent!

  • @y3k23k Jackson browne actually covered it.

  • @zackamundo22 ur straight up wrong

  • @y3k23k Okay there is always a grey line with this song. I'm sorry you're right. He wrote it, but nico was the first to record it.

  • Jackson Browne, John Cale and Lou Reed wrote the songs on Nico's first album.

Nico is one of the many performers of this song. Hers is my favorite version, but it's certainly not the only one.

Oh, and when she recorded it, she was living in NEW YORK.

  • Jackson Browne wrote and composed this song. He is the original, because it's his creation.

    Jackson Browne is amazing. End.

PS. I like this girl's take on it.

  • @OnWeekends0 jackson browne did write the song and he played guitar on Nicos recording, he just didnt record it himself until later

  • She is s fun to listen to. Perfect.

  • shes so soothing :)

  • This song was written by Jackson Browne

  • Very pretty tone. That's a Fender Jaguar right? Are those factory installed pickups?

  • i have no idea. all i know was it was a great show.

  • That's not a Jaguar. I think it's a Teisco.

  • i dont know much about fenders but it looks like a tornado to me

  • I'm pretty sure that it's a Harmony.

  • @CokeMachineGlo hey cokemachineglo, I'm going to open your eyes up to a whole awesome world of guitars. The guitar she's playing isn't a jag, it's actually a super cheap old guitar. There were these lines of guitars made in the sixties and seventies that were made really cheap all over the world, and sold at department stores like sears, pennies, kmart etc. you can now find them on ebay anywhere from 50 bucks to 5,000 bucks! Some of the brands are, Kent, kay, silvertone, harmony, and teisco.

  • @CokeMachineGlo She's playing a teisco I believe. Teisco was the company that put out the coolest and strangest ones!

  • @CokeMachineGlo She actually plays a lot of odd old vintage guitars that were knockoffs in the sixties. She tends to play a lot of harmony brand guitars (cheap guitars often sold at sears back in the day!). If you go on ebay and look up harmony, teisco, kay, or kent, you'll find some pretty neat oddball guitars!

  • You're right of course, but I think Browne was actually the session guitarist for Nico's recording of it.

  • that's good to know! thanks for the information :)

  • i actually think it was jimmy page who played on the session. seriously :)

  • i think you're thinking of jackson browne, but nico originally performed it. he didnt dio it til the 70s

  • aw. lovely. love this song (which is actually written and originally performed by james brown, by the way), and i love st. vincent.

  • James Brown?

  • jackson browne!

    i'm retarded...
