stage 3 makes a good daily driver but not as a real performance platform. i've ridden in a 1.8t golf with a semi-built motor and a gt28-71 and walked on a dtage 3 s4... you have to go past the "stages" to get anything serious. i work on these cars every day. i work at dowerk garage, look us up on audizine

Have owned a 1.8T, a 1.8T Quattro Sport (chipped to 220 BHP) then an S4 (2.7 V6 Twin turbo) which I still own - Probably more tuning options for the 1.8T as used across the VAG range, than the 2.6 but the daddy is the S4 which has the street cred and tuning options up to 400 BHP+ (The RS4 B5 uses the same engine).

contact AWE for their exhaust, the twin1 or twin2 are the best ive heard for the 2.7t, true dual exhaust, too. intake, not sure whats available for the a6, because the bay is different from the s4, but check evolution motorsports.
