In the last few episodes his father has been in nothing but regret for the thought he could of changed Dexter which makes him too weak to protect Dexter helping him slip back to Brian.

Season 3 - Jimmy Smiths - story a bit far fetched but ok

Season 5 - Terrible villains, Julia Styles as Dexter accomplice really sucked ass.

Season 6 - Up until now, nothing really happened
