@Shibsterr dang,, I guess I was just more of a speed guy... when i got my first bike a few years ago it was a 94 katana 1100 and i brought it up to 172 after only being on it for 45 min.. fastest i'll ever go on a bike again but that's coming from somebody who has had plenty of time riding dirtbikes and driving 600+whp cars :)

@canthony1019 i would like to find a stretch around here where i could attempt that. 4 months ago i was still riding like a n00b lol, now i've pushed 130 and im close to dropping knees :) i would LOVE to take a shot at that katana 1100 lol

@Shibsterr well here in tn there's plenty of places where you could do it at.. and the katana is barely even rode right now.. when i want speed i hop on the zx-14 lol speedo tops out @ 180 gps tracked me at going 233 just shifting into 6th @ 13,000 rpm's & the only mods being exhaust, gearing, tune with P.C. III USB, stretched and lowered.. you're welcome to come by and take the katana for a ride though.. i have no care for it anymore. hell i might even sell it here soon.

I'm in North Carolina.. & Gixxer's are awesome bikes I had me one for about a month last year that I bought for $2,300 from some really old guy and sold it for $5,700 It was only a 750 but with the proper tune from a power commander & air filter It kept you'll be suprised what you can do.. I beat some guy on a stock gsx-r 1000 no problem.. Just make sure you keep away from the gixxer 600's though they have numerous problems.

These movies were made with a compact photocamera duct-taped onto the tank, with the roll of tape itself, between tank and camera, for a better view. Yes, it was a try-out.

I would much rather a Carberator... especially on a motorcycle i'd use to commute... The CBR600F can get around 65mpg where as the injected RR's only fetch around 30mpg. And the impact on performance isn't much... Considering the bikes are 10 years apart

You don't need to use the clutch when shifting up at those speeds. Just come off the throttle and kick her up a cog. Much smoother shift that way. Apart from that, good riding, keep it up! CBR600F - the best 600 bike out there!

insurance depends on everything really it depends on your area you live the alarm/security divice(s) your age will go against you and loadds more.... The bike rides excelant with restrictors i had one mesen they ride really smooth and just like they would de-restricted really (just slower) it doesnt affect the bike much tbh :) all it is, is a washer in each of the four inlet rubers that attatch to the carbs they let less fuel in the carbs wich restricts the power, great on petrol though

i have the same bike (well an 94 F2) and had it up to 250KM/h so i doubt your bike is a max of 205KM/h unless your saying thats the fastest you have been on it though :)
