  • your a lucky guy and have achieved what a rich person is unable to do with his/her son/daughter..and the best part is . . you have done all this . .for free. . sabar ka phal meetha hota hain . . your family has suffered in a small village. . now is the time you give your family a sweet fruit. . without seeds :)..to grasp it all :) ..a lesson to learn for all the paki students who go abroad and turn into a MASTANDA instead of studying and utilising their parents money . . they become spoilt brats

  • My request to all:kindly don't point out mistakes in a great thing a fellow Pakistani has accomplished. Put urselves in his shoes before posting therefore so-called 'facts' don't matter when u see the big picture, he accomplished what most people can only dream off. Be proud of him and wish him well. Let's just all be united and happy for a fellow country men :)

  • I couldn't feel more proud of the example he will & has set for so many to dream and more importantly accomplish! I am a rational & well educated individual from Dubai and the day Karrar calls out for an army of supporters ill be the first to be behind him and join his cause to save Pakistan! Karrar had said he wants to go back to Baluchistan and help people there, i wana be the one to help him fulfill this dream!

  • From the second i read his story in tribune i had tears in my eyes. With all that happening in karachi these days i needed a reason to feel a little pride about my country & qoum, i couldn't help wonder when things will change and where is our educated youth gona take over this country. I know now its getting ready. Our youth is getting ready by attaining the highest education to save our country.

  • @ shuja87 You say downtown Quetta like it's a developed City in north America and not in Pakistan. let alone maree abad. I would be surprised if karrar was born and raised in a bigger city like Karachi or Lahore and still made it to harvard. It's an honor to be excepted in a prestigious institute like harvard even for the people like us in north America. Think outside the box. He is a pride and an example for the youth all over the world. I hope and wish my kids make me proud the way karrar h

  • @Scrappinupp LOL HAHAHAHAHA right dude :P Downtown Quetta lol hahaha hilarious..

  • Maree Abad is not a village. It's a stone's throw away from downtown Quetta. Get your facts straight.

  • @shuja87 LOL 8 downtown Quetta hahahahahahahaha ! damn :P and @Scrappingupp is right! Getting in harvard is difficult for every1 in this world! Even if that person is Obama's son :D

  • MASHALLAH bacha ra :) ,,

  • V need youngsters like Karar. Being a part of LUMS management I feel proud to have such a inspiring example in front of me.

Their z always a room for improvement and those who say these students are poor and dunt knw how to speak and behave in front of the big crowd, actually they are feeling jealous from dere spacious victory on them.

Keep rocking and do the right thing. Karar dunt bother the CLASS CONSCIOUS CLUSTER ALLAH BLESS YOU AND OTHER AS WELL

  • Well done Karrar Hussain Jaffer, Keep it up. WE are Proud of you.

  • Even for the candidates who manage to make it dont have many nice stories to tell ... since they are from a totally different segment of society, most of them are unable to blend in the elite crowd. The language is still a problem for candidates making it. If you analyse students on probation, you'll find that majority of those are NOP candidates. Exceptions like this guy are there but these just prove the rule :D

  • @08010043 kara jan mashallah ... greatness ... and i cld not help but notice the bitter comment at the bottom ... oye yaar yeh tu socho kay yeh aik chota kadam hai kam say kaam bhalai ki janib ... ya aap chahtey ho kay NOP siray sey ho hi na ?? ... phir aap elitist college ka rona ro gay ... Main lums ka student hon ... karrar ko personally janta hoon ... us ki mehnat ko undermine na karo ..

  • @08010043 pehli baat us nay lums a kay mehnat ki .. english improve ki .. saab kuch kia .. apnay zor pay .. dosri baat NOP ko minimum 3.0 gpa karan hota hai .. is ky liye un ko faculty madad karti hai har tarha .. there is no way they are on probation .. actually they have the highest GPA's in college .. most have arnd 3.8

  • @08010043 ... (read from bottom up - this is last part of the 3 posts) aur akhiri baat .. aap karrar say poocho ya kisi aur say .. aaj tak lums main kabhi aisa mehsoos nahin howa kay aap ko koi buri nazar say deekh raha hai kyun kay aap gharib ho .. balky saab dostoon ki tarha rehtay hain ... har cheez main kiray nikalna asan hai ... most NOP stories are success stories .. apni information check karain 08010043

  • This NOP is really great if you look at it from pure capitalist point of view as it turns farm slaves into house slaves. Not every story of NOP candidates has a happy ending. Just a fraction of people applying for NOP manage to get into LUMS. For candidates not getting through, it is a polite way to tell them thay "hey..... you are not good enough because you are poor and you can't speak english ... and you know what??? it's your own fault, not ours since you've been given a chance"

  • MashAllah Great Achievement.

may Allah Give Success to all who work hard.

    Really Inspirational to Me!

    I also belong to (Quetta,Balochistan)
