@tacos9876, You dare criticize Elton? He's one of the best. The Beatles are the best though. I love this song. In fact, if you listen to the album (CD) of Here And There, Elton John's 1974 Thanksgiving concert with John Lennon is on there, and they play this song.

He sang this song and it was much better than the Beatles, to me anyway!!!!!!! I know the Beatles sang it 1st, but that don't always mean better!! Elton does this song much better!!!!!!!! To me anyway!!

@starladodge4 I totaly agree! I heard of the Elton John's version first though. Eltons John's version is more complex and longer. Elton's original version (not the one in this video) listen to the bells you hear in the first verse, listen where the bells should chime in later verses, it sounds distorted like a buzzing sound! I think I'm the only one that notices it. lol Like striking a spring or something. In the first verse the bell just chimes. It always fasinated me.
