my computer cant do this, it slows with 50 pieces of domino

  • amazing

  • How long did it take you to model everything, and what did you render it with, Maya or mental ray?

  • well as it was an assignment I was working on it for months on and off obviously not full time. Couldn't give you an exact amount of hours, I spent most weekends on it though, all rendered with mental ray =)

  • Very cool, it is really good because when I saw the pool table I am thinking "oh, well, this is not going to be super cool, just a pool table." I was wrong. :)

  • man, how long it take you to render that?

  • I rendered it on on about 6 PC's all together spread over a few days but if I did it all on one machine I imagine about 4 to 5 days. Was painful!

  • I know the feeling... I just have the fear of crashing for my stuff, lol

  • awsome!!!!

  • I used mayas dof constrained to a locator which acted as the focus point. All I had to do then was move the locator around the scene where I wanted the focus =)

  • how did u do the focal blur??

  • i wish havok is plugged in maya :S
