    running a ball bearing 60-1 hifi and well changed pretty much everything on the car. it's now putting out 440whp 400 wtq on 22.1 psi 93 octane pump gas. 43,000 mile stock motor

  • no and no. This was a s/c'd cobalt originally, there was no no-lift shift. Now it has it due to the N2mb wot box. I was granny shifting the car because the stock clutch was starting to go.

Chevs can take much larger beating then stock honda's. new eco-tech 2.2's and 2.4's have forged crank and pistons. witch i believe is pretty dam strong. parents own chev's and never had a problem, 423 km on a grand prix with a 3.1 before it decided to give up.   • well, my srt-4 is putting down about 415 WHP on 93 pump gas and it is very well behaved on the street when daily driven. turns into a racecar with some drag slicks, race gas, and PCM flash; about 450-460 WHP on 116 octane, and about 535 WHP on the N2O. stock bottom end too. i don't run the juice that often tho. point is that my engine AND drivetrain lives very well for having 400+ daily-driven WHP. take it for what its worth...

  • the car is at 414whp on pump gas now with the new setup, 440whp on 104 octane and 22 psi, daily driven and gets 38mpg on the highway, 38,800 miles and it's still all good, stock clutch just finally gave up at 37,000 miles

  • wow thats something i've never heard of as being possible. 440whp and 38mpg? I've seen 400whp cars get about 36 miles an entire tank.

  • I'm having fuel and clutch issues now since I went to a bigger turbo (turbonetics ball bearing 60-1 hifi). should be ready to run by the end of the month for the imports vs domestics race at E-town.

  • fixed most of the tuning issues, can go WOT now, but only easing into it. Going back into the shop on friday to fix the piping issue. New vids will be up this weekend at 21 psi with meth injection and probably a tank of 100octane

  • trust me yours isn't. i ran my friends Z06 last night at 18 psi, he's running ported ls6 heads, big cam, tune at 440whp and I was right next to him.

    When I ran him with my old sc setup at 296 whp he put about a 1/2 mile on me. Plus this vid is 1/2 throttle at 16psi

    but till then i really dont know much so realy cant put in a opinion on this lil cars thanks boss
