  • I had this really weird dream last night. I was at a Nightwish concert (a finnish metal band). I was in the front row, and really happy about it (: then my little sister rushes to me and says; there is someone here I know you want to meet! I said 'whaaat? Okay!'

She lead me a few feet away, and Dan said "Hi!" I almost fainted xD I tried to say something sensible, but ended up saying that I love him and 'your acting during Fred's death made me cry!!' (okay, it did, but that's not the point XD)

  • best tune ever

  • the end of my childhood

  • I'm the Harry Potter generation and I love Potter but like hell are they the best movies. All of them are quite average, except POA.

  • 8 people i want to punch in the face

  • This song and Obliviate can make you cry for hours...

  • Accio Academy Award....

  • When I hear this, I want to run to the TV and watch HP ;D.

  • I really don´t undestand, how could only someone hate this video like those seven people did. :(

  • @MrTobey881 They were horcruxes

  • Every time i hear this song i can't help but picture our beloved Hogwarts burning down ]:

  • Wow, neve thought this would make me cry, I love Harry Potter that much :) Thumbs up if you agree :'( :)

  • This is, withouth doubt, one of my favourites out of the soundtrack.

  • 7 academy members disliked this masterpiece

  • amooo essa musica

  • The end with Aberforth's patronus charm always gives me goosebumps. So epic! :)

  • In the beginning of the song is it the same as the beginning song in Part 1?

  • chills.

  • This song is played in honor to those who died in the battle of hogwarts. RIP

  • I loved this song as soon as I heard it in the film. Great violins.

  • MAN!! this song gives me goosebumps

  • @Andruto23 This is exactly what I feel about this song! A pitty that it only lasts for two minutes..

  • Tom with his 7 Malacrux's disliked this.

  • This part in the movie is the most legendary moments i''ve EVER seen in ANY movie, first time i saw it.

    Deserves an "Oscar"

  • 2001-2011 the best years of my life!

  • @TheJoeLchen du du nu nu nu nu nu nu nu nu nu nu nu nu nu nu nu nuuuuuuuuuuu nu nu nu. . .

  • I'm so depressed I wanna die -.-

  • How was this not nominated for best score. Those haters at the Oscars make me sick....

  • The Harry Potter movies are definitely the best movies which exist. WE ARE THE HARRY POTTER GENERATION. ϟ

  • @DamonandElena888 dont forget The Lord Of The Rings

  • @iamSnip3rOne no just ... no

  • @benToddTv why not? I love those movies. i honestly think they are far better quality than Harry Potter BUT they both are my favorite movie

  • @DamonandElena888 The Harry Potter books are best. Movies just don't get to the same level.

  • @DamonandElena888 *cough cough* ehem ehem but Lord of the Rings were also the best and Star Wars!

  • @jokerman583 but the stargate was good better and best and harry potter too

  • @DamonandElena888 and the Lord of the rings. thats the best also. I'm a hardcore fan of both.

  • @junkyjoe11 I'm a big fan of both, but I'd say neither are ACTUALLY the best movies ever made.

They're definitely among my favourites, though.

  • Gee could this tune ever get boring. *yes no

  • didnt you frogdude14

  • you got that from the book

  • @MrD4NtH3m4N aw god when someone has to ask if they got that from the book, its a bad sign for good writing. Please tell me you read the books ?

  • There should be a paintball thingy (but doesnt hurt that much when you get shot XD) where you use wands instead of guns and you run in a replica of the courtyard and try to shoot each other, with this music playing in the background :D wouldn't it be awesome!!

  • @ThePetrificusTotalus Lol and in slow motion xD

  • The soundtrack fit in with the movie perfectly!

  • well all I have to say is that this soundtrack is the best, Lily's theme is very moving too. If you have read the book and compare what you read with what you see... You'll notice that this scene is mostly the same as it is described. It just makes me get into the battle and really feel what's going on there. I cry everytime I see this !

  • I cry when ever this song comes... Heck I cry when the whole movie starts!!!!!! I love Harry Potter :')

  • The whole song is sad but it hits straight to home at 1:14 that's when I visualize Severus, Tonks, Remus, Fred, Mad eye, Headwig, Dumbledore's dead bodies lying on the ground along with countless others who died at Voldemort's hand.... Forever loved and Never forgotten.

  • the best song of the movie

  • I feel all the sadness of the world in this music ! It's so Wonderful !

  • The Tale of the 3 Brothers....

    Voldemort died for power

    Severus died for love

*Dumbledore greeted death with open arms

  • This was my favorite track <3

harry potter lies in all of our hearts forever<3

  • 6 people were muggles

  • chills through the whole video. if you dont like this you're a mudblood

  • Well, at this moment of the movie, I was crying because of this soundtrack... and because of the people who were fighting for Hogwarts, but.. Omg, It's SO awesome! :') <3

  • My favourite piece <3

So moving and seeing everyone fight for Hogwarts <3

  • Potter films are classics, so comparing it to Twilight is kinda unfair. I wouldn't consider myself a Twilight fan but I do enjoy the films once in a while. But the Potter films and books are amazing. I didn't really grow up with them but billions of people did :) To me, comparing Harry Potter to Twilight is like comparing Titanic to Grown Ups. A good movie series, yes, but legendary? Not even close.

  • Beautiful

  • Shame the movie wasn't even nominated for OSCAR. Or even the flawless acting of Alan Rickman! I'm honestly upset. But at the same time it goes to show that The Academy has lost their touch. How can they not realize the divine beauty and moral of the "EPIC" Harry Potter series; who's fans followed them through a decade until the very end and will continue to follow them always. The magnificent story which was shown most beautifully in "Deathly Hallows Part 2! How?! Need I say more...

    Rilla

  • This is my favorite piece of from this movie. It starts with war drums, urging you to join the fight. As it progresses and swells you start to realize that even if they defeat Voldemolt the damage to Hogwarts is done and friends have died for it. I get a little choked up everytime I watch this scene. Alexandre Desplat is amazing, one of the best in the business. Pity that he wasn't nominated for scoring this or Tree of Life.

  • @LiveNewsCentre To be fair to the "some black and white film" as you called it, The Artist is a silent picture. More than that, it is a HOMAGE to silent pictures and the silent film industry from back in the early 20th century. That's the kind of stuff the Academy likes and always will like. It's not just "some black and white film" and honestly, black and white pictures are some of the best (i.e as VenomShock said: Citizen Kane). Honestly...it's not all that surprising this wasn't nominated.

  • Fuck you Academy! How can you not nominate the best score of year!!!

This Score is a fucking masterpiece!!!

  • @SRKGirl1983 Well this score isnt THAT good. It would have been alot better if John Williams or even Patrick Doyle did it. The scores from the first two and fourth films were always my favourite (I don't what happened to Williams with the third film though). What Im pissed off with is that the Academy nominated some black and white film for best picutre but not Harry Potter? They really have lost touch.

  • @SRKGirl1983

Potter doesn't deserve a best score nominee but a BEST FILM nominee. Potter gave these people 10 amazing years. Don't only give them the award for this film, but for the 7 others! Alan Rickman should have gotten nominated for best supporting actor!! hush now Nagini, we have a theme park

  • Oh and this song is to be played at my funeral

  • omfg i love this! alexandre desplat the composer of harry potter deathly part 1 and 2, has beaten hans zimmer..! this is fucking inspiring man!!

  • Every time I listen to this song I imagine a huge wizard war in slow motion with spells flying every where, people dying :( love this series

  • @jellyman570 Only in our imagination because in the movie Yates didn't show any person dying, even not a war!

  • @NivekztyleDj are you kidding? in that scene when harry, ron and hermione are running through the courtyard, you see tons of people die, including lavender getting bitten by greyback, you see harry potentially kill 2 death eaters, you see the giants or trolls (watever they are) whacking people with there curved sword thing. point is you see ALOT of people dying. and when u said not even in war, what about dumbledore, voldemort, snape, dobby, bellatrix... ect

  • @jellyman570 you do NOT see any people dying!! look it again!! it is just people moving from left to right in their same place and a lot of lights! thats ALL !!! Ok Lavender died but did Yates show a battle?? Harry did not kill any death eater... all the running scene was trivially choreographed... Yates sucks! and his battle too! damn it! he had a wonderful story to maximize in the movie but instead of that he minimized it.

  • @NivekztyleDj Remember that originally these books are children's books. You don't see people die, why should you? You know they do, war is terrible enough. Yates did a wonderful job and I don't think there's any director who would've done better. Now, I'm not really into your discussion but I just wanted to say this; The books are better, as always, but Yates did the best he could and i think he did brilliantly.

  • @evannalynchje Grow up! Ok, the first and second book are for children. At the third book the story turns more complicated, and it gets more complicated in the next books. To see Harry Potter's books like children's books is a big mistake. I mean, after we read the first book when we were like 10 years old, we grew up! we did not remain children! HP and the deathly hallows was not a children's book!

  • @NivekztyleDj so true about the last book. my dad called them "teenybopper books". I blew up in his face.

  • @NivekztyleDj - You have a point... but it's YOU who needs to grow up. Others are just trying to have a discussion with you and you're acting like a childish ass.

  • @TheMichaelRedman think what you want.

  • @NivekztyleDj YOU ARE CRAZY? explain dobby? he died, explain dumbledore, explain voldermort, and yes harry did stun a death eater that was flying at a tramendous speed and then crashed into a pillar, explain bellatrix and what about those giants that a whacking everyone?!! YOU DO SEE PEOPLE DIE!

  • @jellyman570 Dobby's dead was DH part 1!!! part 1 was much better than part 2. Dumbledore??? did you see the 6th movie? didn't you see a BLUE Avada Kedavra? besides dobby's dead was much more touching than dumbledor's. Voldemort?? Bellatrix??? you've got to be kidding... desintegration?? it was ridiculous! OH! I almost forget... "harry did stun a death eater" I think that you didn't see that after the death eater crashed into a pillar....he disappeared! WTF!! o_O

  • @NivekztyleDj there is a reason the killing curses are a different colour, blue represents sadness, green represents pleasure and red represents anger. the reason why the death eater dissapears when he hits the pillar is because he goes out of sight? whats so hard to understand that? and you are ignoring my point, you do see people die in the 2nd part.

  • Every moment of the series, from Dumbledore leaving Harry on the Dursley's doorstep, to going down to the Chamber of Secrets, to being entered in the Trwiwizard Tournament, all lead up to that one moment. We really did grow up with them, and now its finally time to say goodbye. But Harry Potter will never die.

  • @rootbeer543 true story my friend i am 21 years old and i will love harry potter until the day of my death, i was brought up with harry potter :)

  • I always get goosebumps when I get to this part in the movie!! And also when the teachers and OotP members create that big shield before the battle... *shivers* so powerful

  • close your eyes

  • this soundtrack with this video watch?v=AqT5x-HaWtg

  • If you see carefully you'll se Voldemort is fighting backwards.

  • T_T...

  • I replay this every time I watch the movie. The scene where they're running threw the battle. It just makes me cry :( I still can't believe it's over. I watch the movie once or twice a day after school , it never gets old -3

  • Ahhhhhh. Takes me back to midnight july 15

  • When I listen to this song I pick up my replica wand and run around screaming spells ^^ CRUCIOO <3

  • The Tale of the 3 Brothers...

    Voldemort died for power

    Severus died for love

Harry greeted death with open arms

  • @Sakuto2 OMG! That makes perfect sense! Didnt realise it until now :O:O:O

    *Massive chill attack*

    THANKS!<3

  • @Sakuto2 That was MY top comment in THIS video !! You just copy it >(

  • @TurkeyFinland I did? Shit, I'm sorry. I didn't meant to, I just thought of it and thought I should spread it. My bad.

  • @Sakuto2 Yeah ... it's not problem

  • @Sakuto2 It'll be overwhelming if Joanne wrote Severus as Cadmus' descendant... I'd be like -- dejavu.

  • @Sakuto2 Only Tom, Severus and Harry were not brothers.

  • @cinemalego -_- Not the point

  • @Sakuto2 I didn't say it was the point...?

  • @cinemalego I know very well they weren't related....Suspension of disbelief my friend, use it well.

  • @Sakuto2 I didn't say you didn't know they weren't related.

  • @cinemalego Ok, this conversation is going nowhere, let's just drop it and enjoy the music

  • @cinemalego

Actually, Harry and Tom are related. Tom is descended from Cadmus Peverall, and Harry is descended from Ignotus.

  • @277imperator Oh right, I forgot. Well, at least not brothers.

  • God, I wish the movie hadn't left out Kreacher and the house elves. I can visualize it perfectly:

"Fight, fight for my master, the defender of the house-elves! Fight for master Regulus! Fight!"

  • @FrogDude14 I am so mad about that too! I think I am even more upset about them leaving out Winky and everything with S.P.E.W. in the 5th book. They never showed them going to the kitchens; ithad so much potential! Why can't they read the book BEFORE making the movies????

  • Oh, dear god. Every time I listen to this my heart swells and I want to cry! Alexandre Desplat is incredible! Never will anyone make a better sundtrack than him.

  • Seeing Hogwarts being torn apart is like the entire falling apart

  • this song makes my hear ache with longing. i feel like i'm going to cry every time i hear it. it's so powerful, and theres much more to it than just a regular instrumental song. i get shivers. i wish this series was never ending. that would be one of my wishes if i had 3. to make the cast immortal, and the crew immortal and jk rowling immortal so the series would go on forever.

  • Harry Potter will only truly have left the world when none here are loyal to the series.

    <3

  • i love but i hate this song its the sound of the end! :(

  • This should be top 10 epic songs nr. 1 :D

  • muy buena la pelicula la mejor de todas!!

  • epicmeter is on limits

  • @colldom5 dude shut up! Harry Potter and Twilight are different from another so don't compare it!

  • @1fcbarcelonaforever ok fair play. sorry

  • @MeyuTsumiru someone's a twilight lover...

  • @Heylo129 Pardon me? And what do you have to do with wether i like it or not? If i wrote what i worte it was because i love Harry Potter, therefore, i cannot agree with anyone comparing it with another series and... actually i believe i don't have to discuss this with you.

  • @MeyuTsumiru yes they're different stories, but twilight is a bad book. and anyone who thinks that, potterhead or not can say it if they feel like it. No one's comparing them. People are just saying twilight sucks, because it does.

  • @mathildehjertholm But everyone knows that, whats he point of bringing it up all the time? it's stupid -.-

  • @MeyuTsumiru To the DUDLEY'S?!!! LOL!

  • @Madelinebreakinfree Dudley's? what?... Dursley's *

  • Why does everyone bring up Twilight? I mean yes, ironically I'm bringing it up now in a way. But that's because I'm seeing comments about it.

Twilight is just a shitty series. Seriously, that's it. It's just a piece of shit. Why must you continue to establish Harry Potter's superiority over it? That goes without saying. It's like comparing "Citizen Kane" to "Bucky Larson", of course it's better. So are lots of things.

By continuing to compare them, you're immortalizing Twilight's memory.

  • @VenomShock Agreed, just like how some people always manage to bring up a certain Canadian teenager.

  • @VenomShock i'm a twihard but also a HUGE harry potter fan. i love them both equally. yeah twilight is a little cheesy, but i think it has a great story line. and harry potter, oh god. harry potter. there are just. no words. no. words.

you put your point in a good statement. but there are people out there who love HP as much as they love Twilight. just remember that. ;D

  • @VenomShock

More like comparing the Original Star Wars series to the Prequels.

  • @VenomShock

    agreed, 100 %

like comparing the goodness of harry to the goodness of Voldemort. there is nothing to compare.

  • @VenomShock Plus they're completely different. Only thing in common is that there is werewolves in both.

  • @VenomShock Yeah, you're 100% correct.

Now Lord of the Rings vs Harry Potter is an honourable comparison...because they both kick so much ass it's not even funny.

  • @VenomShock I couldn't agree more.

  • The intensity is amazing, it is so triumphant and moving :)

  • "Be a man riddle....Try for some remorse..."

  • Stephenie Meyer made 4 accounts to dislike this song -.-..

  • THNX HARRYPOTTERART for putting it i have been searchin for it

  • And yet another reason to love Harry Potter is the beautiful original soundtrack, compared to the shitty Twilight ones where they just find songs on iTunes and put them on their waste of film.

  • Bella, Edward, Jacob and Charlie. I told you to stay away from the dislike button. And what do you do? Dislike. You have much to learn.

  • In love with this music! Harry Potter may have ended but it will live on forever!

  • @xxxcastroxxx1 how to sparkle

  • This song is what made my emotions stir during watching the end of this fantastic tale, yet it also made me depressed. Depressed because for 8 years I always told the people I know "I cannot wait for the next Harry Potter to come out next year!", but now that magnificent feeling is gone forever, also knowing that nothing will replace this legendary story of a boy who defeated the most evil wizard that ever lived. Yet now is the end of that time of my life, and its going to be sad without it.

  • So beautiful it makes me cry...

  • Best piece of music in the film.......stunning. It is indeed only 2 mins long in the film too. :-)

  • Harry Potter has lived with me basicly all my childhood, Only at this song when the school was being destroyed did it dawn on me that this was the end :L

  • Lavender's death 1:06-1:10 : (

  • @EatAndSleepAndDance

I didn't find Lavender's death as sad as I found it very out-of-nowhere and disturbing. Still, it was a horrible way to go and she didn't deserve it :(

  • @TheLadyYuki

I agree but it was really terrible! :(

  • @EatAndSleepAndDance lavender doesnt die?

  • @mathildehjertholm Yeah she does! Fenrir Greyback eats her. It's terribly gruesome and it makes me feel sick but yeah she dies.Watch the video of this scene; you will see. Also, when Harry enters the Great Hall Professor Trelwaney and Parvati Patil cover her up with a sheet because she is dead. : (

  • Alexandre Desplat is a true genius.

  • This movie was so good, the only thing missing was buckbeak and thestrals. Other than that, HP ALL THE WAY!!!

  • This music is so amazing. The whole movie the hairs on my neck were standing up. So many beautiful songs. I hope Desplatt wins an Oscar

  • Voldemort.....WHY...WHY? Just because you don't like Harry doesn't mean you have to dislike it 4 times!

  • @supersoldier7738 on youtube you can only like or dislike one video ones, and i know Voldemort, he only has one youtube account. He can't dislike it 4 times!

The other three where just some pist off twilight fans or something like that.
