At the middle of Broadway & 1st, there was a whirlpool! Anyways, i remember that day as if it was yesterday, my father owns yorkton towing, from the flood there was 512 cars needed to be towed...... freaking incredible
@shotguna99 Wow, thats a lot! I wonder how many of them were the rednecks in lifted 4x4's that refused to listen to the firefighters because they were causing the ripples in the water that shattered the basement windows in the Parker&Quine building, and made the damage worse. P.s. My Dad used to own the Gulf Service station beside the Dairy Queen
@RJtoon1 Awesome, i always wondered who owned that place, anyways, their rebuilding now, i beleive their going to add another story, instead of a basement to dairy queen.
@RJtoon1 You know Prince Albert? Saskatchewan, about 2 hours away from saskatoon, It rain stormed here and whoollllyyyyy shiit, you couldnt see shit all, I wish it actually continued for like 4 more hours, but... you know, it stopped after 30 minutes... enough damage, uprooted trees, some streets looked like jungles and that shit
@xbox360ftw123 It was a messed up summer fo sho. It rained this day a couple hours i think, non stop, and before this it was 30 years since we had a mess like this supposedly They are tearing down the dairy queen because of structural or foundation damage and rebuilding many buisnesses over this flood, the damages are still felt months later
@debnty I knew someone would ask that. Because I wore it around my neck and let it hang when I was talking to people who were pretty upset about their homes so I didn't want to be rude and stick a camera in their faces
@debnty if it's not floating away, buy it fast ;) All I know is that in my homebase (Saskatoon) we were the fastest growing property values in Canada for the last 2 years or so and values matched Calgary or Vancouver. But as for Yorkton, the values have basically doubled from what they were, most houses in Y town are around 150 K now or so
HAHAHA that "'Truck" was DOA shortly after that.... famous last words used my many that tries doing 80mph through the water "D'uh how come my car died"
