This seems like a great guitar, though I personally don't care for the oversized headstock. I'd probably swap it out for a custom built neck.

Mark Lucas is a great guitarist, talented, and really down to Earth to do demos for Nstuff music. He's not a snob, he's like Phil X, hes explains what I want to hear. He plays on clean because you need to hear the guitar clean, if it sounds good clean, then it will most likely sound good overdriven. Not being a jerk here but if people don't know what a strat/tele or Fenders sound like maybe its time to play the drums...just saying. Yes Fenders very in sound, but not by too much. Peace

Funny thing I had an impression that's this the only place where you can find blues in reviews. Normally I found guys playing metal. I think blues gives a better feel of a guitar.

@Max45090 Yes the EMG would be more aggressive for metal the only thing is that it's active and the other pickups are not.

Actually, I've listened to demos of the blacktops and I don't think they sound too good under distortion. I think this would be better.

@Lukeyboi14 ....in your opinion.....in my opinion, and I think a lot of other people agree with me, this is one of the best finishes because its nitro, so the wood breaths and resonates more, on the other finishes its opaque, so you see the grain, and I personally LOVE the satin look, even though some people, like you, obviously prefer gloss look... this guitar is legandary, and I really wish I had saved up a couple hundred dollars for this one sometimes...

@yuvalrplaysguitar dont worry about that other dude, he doesn't know whats what. i personally prefer the poly finishes on most mexican strats, just like that glossy look n feel and it doesnt get as many scratches. i find that the breathing issue really isnt that noticable
