  • it could have been magnum p.i . i can forgive leonard anything.

  • Lousy product shills posting clips from other shows for discredit.

  • @allofed "He speaks French, people dress horribly and there is an alligator. It is certainly all you ever need to see of a Miami Vice episode."

One of the greatest (and perhaps the most influential on all counts) series in television history would naturally repay careful study, so your mean-spirited comment is at best a bizarre reason for posting the clip in the first place.

  • If I fall in love with that voice, does that make me gay? Fuck it, I'm going gay then.

  • Love Cohen..though he really should stick to singing...

  • @xenonfinity him and Zappa

  • LMAO!!! hilarious!! This show was such a big deal when I was a teen. Everyone raced home to watch it! Now it's just ridiculous!

  • amazing...LC as crime boss. c'est magnifique!

  • and the Oscar goes to Leonard Cohen... best actor ever... He is god

  • Cohen is convincing.

  • Miami Vice Always Had A Great Musical Score But The Theme Song For This Episode (In The First Scene Is One Of The Best Ever Compostions By Mr. Hammer) Simply Classic..

  • I like how the girl in the beginning just carries around this little folder full of top secret info around in the streets of Paris and it's not even in a case with any type of security, etc.

  • Cohen is on tour now, 2009.

  • His finest work ever.

    (cough!)

  • I wouldn't mind to see more of him as an actor...

  • what's wrong with his twisted head?

  • What's with the alligator?

  • How could she not fall in love with that voice?!

    And in French!

    He's a God, a poet AND a hypnotist!

This is a cool clip. Thanks!

  • LOL

  • Miami Vice was an excellent show. Don't knock it.

  • It is certainly all you ever need to see of a Miami Vice episode. ¿what did you mean?

  • It was 1986. Apparently Cohen thought it would be amusing to appear in MV because his kids liked the show, but after one day of filming they did a rewrite because they were underwhelmed with his performance. No real surprise. Leonard Cohen as a bad guy drug lord? As he talks to the girl on the phone, she's probably falling in love with the voice, not feeling intimidated.

  • @sknnyboy I heard once that he originally had a comedic role..
