@allofed "He speaks French, people dress horribly and there is an alligator. It is certainly all you ever need to see of a Miami Vice episode."
One of the greatest (and perhaps the most influential on all counts) series in television history would naturally repay careful study, so your mean-spirited comment is at best a bizarre reason for posting the clip in the first place.
Miami Vice Always Had A Great Musical Score But The Theme Song For This Episode (In The First Scene Is One Of The Best Ever Compostions By Mr. Hammer) Simply Classic..
I like how the girl in the beginning just carries around this little folder full of top secret info around in the streets of Paris and it's not even in a case with any type of security, etc.
It was 1986. Apparently Cohen thought it would be amusing to appear in MV because his kids liked the show, but after one day of filming they did a rewrite because they were underwhelmed with his performance. No real surprise. Leonard Cohen as a bad guy drug lord? As he talks to the girl on the phone, she's probably falling in love with the voice, not feeling intimidated.
it could have been magnum p.i . i can forgive leonard anything.
