@nnerrdy Ace explicitly asked Matt Pryor if he could use that portion in his song. Obviously he got it. It's brief, it makes a point, and it fits beautifully in the song, in my humble opinion. The Get Up Kids were a huge influence on The Early November and it's paying tribute, not ripping off. Besides, I think we can agree that it would be a lot worse if My Chemical Romance used the chorus from No Love in one of their songs.

I saw Ace Enders in concert with a lot of other bands and a guy from the other bands was talking to me and told me to look them up and I finally did and I'm so so so so glad. Ace was the best there.
