Hmmm, I would caution against using definitions in the dictionary to settle questions of logic.

The problem is that terms -- even terms that appear in the dictionary -- are always contested. Much of what we SHOULD be debating is how we use these terms, not to take the terms as settled in order to box in a discussion.

Take the issue of "theft"; by the logic you gave there would be no end to "theft" because that person who uses services from the govt. wi/out paying taxes "steals" from the govt.

Thank you for the clarification. I do note that there is a section in the bill which technically states that it won't apply to illegal immigrants, but as it does not give a methodology, I guess I'll grant you this one.

I still don't like this channel being associated with Wilson, simply because he abjectly lied about foreign policy and showed himself to be a warmongering and McCarthyist hawk on Iraq, but I do withdraw the assertion that he lied about this matter. Good day,

I will not qualify my compliments on your analysis of Obama's tax deception because It stands alone as valid critique regardless of your views on other issues.

Well, it's actually another member's analysis in this video (We're a collaborative channel of left libertarians), but we have very similar views regarding both foreign and economic policy.

There's a major difference.

We call Obama out for actual lies. Wilson accuses Obama of lying when he's telling the truth about current proposals.

Further, Joe Wilson goes against almost everything this channel stands for. We tell the truth to critique war and imperialism; he lies to justify it. We advocate liberalization of immigration; he uses fear of immigrants to distort debate about health care.

Startling insight for someone so young. I'm very impressed. Stephanopolis is typically a Dem hitman, so its particularly surprising that he would lay out such a nice trap for Obama in this interview, and Obama blundered right into it. I wish the interview had been seen by more people.
