Ooooh my gawd... That's soooo scary!!! You ENTERED the race line at 53 miles per hour AND apexed turn one!! Right where you merged into the race line, I'm going DOUBLE YOUR SPEED right there.
Going left to right doesn't warm up your tires. Only fast acceleration and hard braking will warm them up. If you don't believe me google it or ask an instructor next time you go.
Hi, i saw your confidence slowly growing lap by lap. I have yet to try a track day sometime. I own a ducati 900ss and ive had alot of road riding experience. Ive been thinking about trying a trackday on maybe the cbr600 package at donington, england. Im not sure how much different the bike and riding style would feel against what im used to but i believe i would be too confident on my own bike and end up possibly damaging it. I dont know how cofidence inspiring the cbr is but my bike is solid.
You need to be more careful coming out of pit lane. When first coming out on track, never, ever cut across the track to the apex of turn 1 at THill. You're barely going 60 mph while a GSX-R1K could be braking from 160+. Stay all the way right until you're in the straight approaching turn 2, then you can blend in to the racing line.
Yah I can't wait for the next track day. Are you going in the near future? My friend is going to be renting it out for a day hopefully in sept. We'll see. Where do you live?

You're right about warming up the tires. This was quite a long time ago when I was misinformed on the topic. It was my first track day.
Hard braking and accelerating are the actions that heat up the tires.
