Half a million people show up, and no press coverage!!!!....Was listening to talk radio last night. Mike Savitch says: If half a million black folks showed up and the President said: "oh i didn't watch it, every American has the right to voice their oppinion"...the press would have ripped him to shreds. refreshing to hear your plans gfreak. I really think Glen has some good things to say. Lately I have been reading a considerable amount of literature that I don't necessarilly agree with in order to better understand other peoples' viewpoints. I went to a Tea Party where 20,000 people showed up. I never ran into any person I thought was racist. But than again..Nancy Pelosi called all of us racist just for being there.

I've gone to Tea Party rallies and similar rallies, there's barely, if any, racism at all, aside from the one or two loons.
From what I've watched on Glenn Beck, what he does lately is show who the President surrounds himself with and how radical they are, and showing a link between them and the President's ideology, and I don't think he's blowing out of his own pipe.

refreshing to hear your plans gfreak. I really think Glen has some good things to say. Lately I have been reading a considerable amount of literature that I don't necessarilly agree with in order to better understand other peoples' viewpoints. In the past I would not have gone within 20 miles of this type of liturature. But, when I read this stuff...I say to myself. "oh, so that's why they..", I think that too many people out that are painting groups of people with too broad a brush these days.

@Bagatronic I don't understand what the mystery is about Glen Beck... he's on Fox News at 5pm every weeknight for those who might be curious.
I find him to be a wonderful teacher....he brings people on who have written books on the Founding Fathers....his main interest is to keep those basic truths alive in our culture.
I have never heard him say a racist comment....in fact, his greatest hero is Martin Luther King (for good reason).
I'm glad you will go and record events.

Remember to bring spare batteries. The last thing you want is a few flat batteries when you want to record the rally. And if you want to splice it up then you should know the new limit for Youtube is 15 minutes not 10 or 11.
