Thsi Leafs shows that Stapleton is a valuable and skilled and talented player to keep. Look at him he's pushing himself so hard and you want to send him back. No way. Keep him. Leafs need a guy like him and in the with Blake and Mooore. Also, Thanks Spezza for scoring in your net. Maybe you ate to much Pizza to get drunk! GO! LEAFS GO!
hes 26... what you see is the best stapleton has to offer. hes not going to be getting any better. he's decent, but once toronto pulls their team out of the gutter stapleton wont fit in.
He could be 56 but if he's in his first NHL season he's a rookie.
Stapleton is a great 3rd/4th line guy who with good coaching can only get better. Nobody is asking him to become the next leader of the team but he's proven at the AHL level and so far at the NHL level he can contribute.
good point. but lets just see a year or maybe 2 from now if timmy makes the team. hes decent for toronto, but toronto is also a clusterfuck of a team.

It was good to see Stapleton get his first NHL goal. I love that Alfredson was booed in his own arena. That shows how many leaf fans there were.
