@cookie123456789012 oh the ps3 controller was created in a program called Cinema 4d. it's a 3d program. after effects can't do 3d modeling to that extent. so when you see something that complex as a 3d model it's generally done in a 3d modeling program, then brought into after effects. cinema 4d can render out 3d models as after effects projects. they are very compatible

I am doing an amature filming thing for a DVD, i have all the equiptment, green screen, camera crane, mic's but i just need an intro like the start of this. i will obiously put credits in it, at the begining and at the end and a special thanks and a link to your youtube page.

my movie is about some people trapped in the wood ect. and theres a scary kidnapper, so if you could make me an intro that would be great. thanks alot.

just import the file like any other file and drop it onto the timeline. thats how ive always done it but im using cs3 so i'm assuming its the same in cs4...

well i import the song and put it on the timeline and press play and i cant hear anything. i get no error message. i havent tried the other formats.

ooooooh so you can actually get it on your timeline...i gotchya..... when you play your timeline after effects doesnt render the audio if you just press the space bar to play it. you have to RENDER it. you can ram preview your timeline by pressing the zero key "0". or by going to the top menu under compostion > ram preview. making sure "audio" has a check mark next to it under compostion as well. or by going to composition> preview audio.

let me clarify alittle better..... go to compostion > preview > ram preview. or compostion> preview> audio preview also make sure that audio is turned on for the preview by going to composition>preview> and selecting "audio" a check mark will appear next to it if you did it right. all of these will give the results you want. the difference between ram preview and audio preview is that ram preview will also render video.
