Hell No, Crossbreeding should be outlawed. Only acceptable cross is puttining a 9 inch ina GM( who can't seem to build strong diffs) Not a whole motor. A Windsor is almost as cheap as a Chevy to build. Nice car witha bad heart.

With a sbf you have to stroke yur engine to be on the same playing field. My buddy races a pro late model at the local circle track, his car runs a late model 302 ford. He told me most of the guys that run fords use 302s stroked to 347ci vs the 351s cause of the extra weight the 351s carry.

It can easily be 420 horse, you probably have a bigger cam and your car has softer suspension and a flimsy ass chasis which is why it shakes when it's idling and revving. Small car, stiff chasis, tight suspension doesn't wiggle much.
