this studio version is superb, but the live performance on Idol was truly amazing. Clarkson with Jeff Beck is a wonderful ride as well. Susan Boyle and Stacey Francis come on people try a Q-tip or sobering up !

@HLeeD18 i dont disagree, however, these shows arent entirely about pure talent, they should be, but they arent. if more people liked Crystal then logically they would have voted for her instead of Lee, it just shows that he was more popular. and you dont have to be a vocal major to see great musicians and talent, the only thing you need is a set of ears...and everybody has them :) dont misunderstand any of this, i aint having a go, just giving my views :)

She has the original voice and her talent is unique. No problem being a successful artist even if she isnt the idol.

Whats important was she showed to MILLIONS OF WITNESSES worldwide in the finale 2 against the so-called "amazing voice" (lee) - that she rose to occasion and wiped him away. Thats the recognition she needs. Title that is not earned based on true talent is valueless
