@camjon12 First, can I say that Black Butler's Undertaker is my FAVOURITE character, right behind Sebastian. X3. Anyhow, I know you didn't ask me, but I'll give some advise anyway. I would suggest outlining where you need the scar with a face power/eyeshadow first, then going in with a black or darker eyeshadow. It won't look SUPER amazing like this, but it would do the job. (:

I worked on a show that required some crazy special FX makeup and there were a couple of actors who had some really bad scars from this stuff :[ and not from having it on for multiple days in a row, just from having it on one day and having the makeup artist continually reapplying it throughout the day for touch ups. the makeup artists on the show said they refused to use it now... it's a shame cause it looks really good

What about using spirit gum before and after in high moveable areas like the throat. I have to do a throat gash for a film and this would work great. I was also wondering if just one thin coat of latex over it or under it would hold it on longer.

I think this scarring liquid is cool, and i'm surprised to learn that it is relatively inexpensive on the website. but i'm a little confused with what to order. I want to start with the smaller bottle, and there are two choices: w/ brush, and w/ brush carded. I did my googling (that returned a bunch of results about wool), but I'm guessing that a carded brush has bunched up bristles (kinda like a toothbrush). What do you think a carded brush would be good for?

In regards to the acetone removal method, would acetone nailpolish remover work? I don't foresee needing to remove it that way, but I'm also not sure if I'd be able to find acetone or spirit gum remover in the tiny town I go to school in. I mean, for fun, we go to Walmart, and while it has a huge variety, Walmart doesn't get into specifics.

what i have tried which was actually completely by accident was if you use liquid latex you would just apply a thin layer where you want the scar to be and when it dries just pinch the skin and it will hold very nice and tightly and it will look like a realistic scar.

@yautja89 Do NOT use it for Joker scars. When I did that, I only applied a thin layer to give the slight impression of indents, then covered it in prosaide to cover the area, sealing the edges down and allowing more stretching.

This will crack and peel, and when it does, it gets painful escpecially around the lips. I wouldn't ever recommend peeling them off, I'd rather use Acetone and a cotton ball.
