The Arrivals is a stupid documentary,I really dont want to fight with anybody but that documentary is just stupid,there is no logic in there. I have question for all believers,if we all have been created by GOD,then who created him,religion tells us that we couldnt be created by evolution ok,but who created him then and who created the one who created him and ad infintum. I saw this movie in preview and took my son who is now nearly 18. even back then at his young age, he too was touched by the film. We had a great Q & A with the director. I am fortunate to have had that experience and to now be able to see the movie over again. The music and film are so powerfully moving!

I saw the movie on the big screen in surround sound with no idea what it was about or the story of first father and shibalba etc...I didn't, couldn't even try to figgure it out I just experienced it in awstruck silence of thought. My mind was silent for hours and my first thought was "death...why" answer came back.."we cry for ourselves(when they leave us)"

I have had this favorited for a long time.....ive never heard of "The Arrivals" until today. I got about 2 parts in and just couldnt take it anymore......The use of music as a tool to make you feel like it's so friggin important is disgusting to me....not only that but it's hypocritical for the preachy bastards who speak of the"mind control" methods in the media and turn around and use some of the same methods themselves!!!.....

Movie is so live, self-asking, wandering...full of energy and the inside of human being, out of him and full of eaden scenes...just breathless, so perfect. Music is so hipnotizing, so calm and heart-touching...I don't know...this is the best movie soundtrack.

the fountain was one of the most underrated movies I have ever seen. It was beautiful and so deep and I honestly think the critics rated it so poorly because they didn't understand it. What a shame. The music alone is breathtaking.

im going to be honest this film doesn't have any real plot to me, i do not care, this is art at it's most spectacular, just wow, no words can describe how this left me feeling, what more could you want. Lets be honest why would you want yet another boring summer blockbuster over this, amazing in so many ways!

When I listen to music these are the things that affect me, but... when the music is over I compare what I felt while listening to music and what my life consists of now: who I see everyday, what I act like, and what other people act like and honestly I can say that it's a sad world that we live in.

This entire sequence of music pierces me like no other. My breath comes faster.. eyes start to mist and I get this dull ache right behind my heart.. my teeth involuntarily grit together and for its entire duration.. its as if everything I know bout science is lies and magic really exists... like I could spirit away me and the girl Ive loved for 6 years away to xibablba for an eternity of love.... then it ends. And im just a guy with tear stained cheeks and noone to love.

@elnegroik I stumbled on these songs thinking they were just an instrumental musical album called "The Fountain." I'm glad there's someone out there who understands. Sometimes it feels like I must have an organ in my brain that no one else has, and this music unlocks it, because I feel more than human. I cry the best tears, and I know that all of existence was worthwhile just to feel that way once. I have always loved music, but these songs changed my life. I have a cello now, so I can create.
