@amoghthegamer I like set top units but HTPCs to me have the advantage of internal storage and multipurpose (like mild gaming depending on the setup) and easier to upgrade without ditching the whole thing

i mean yeah i get the point, nobody really wants a PC next to their TV. but really. NO SET TOP BOX can beat a PC. Their cost is around $130 for a decent Set top or you can go get a PC for around $200 and hook it up for much more usage. but my friend uses Google TV is its nice.
