  • Sadly, you always will find extremists of any persuasion. I would love to add balance to our media which is far far too right wing biased but the people in this video are a little too extreme, viewers should take note that this video has targeted a particular type of person and you'd just as easily find the same ignorance from any persuasion be it left wing or right. Doubtless I will meet position to this but the truth remains and I know I'm correct and won't argue back because I don't need to.

  • this is really unbelievable

  • Cowards. One of the biggest problems in the US today. Whether you are terrified of Rush Limbaugh controlling the vote with his scaaaary radio show or whether you are scared of blood in video games or a bare breast on the Internet driving your god fearing child into a smutty, shooting spree you are both shameful cowards, willing to trade Freedom for Security. These two things are mutually exclusive.

If you oppose the First Amendment in any capacity you are, objectively speaking, a bad American.

  • 3:22 Man. Wow. There's a guy who doesn't know the first thing about conservative talk radio. Not a thing.

  • These people are idiots, not all liberals are this stupid.

  • @alex248m Well stated, these people have been selected and shown intentionally. Idiots are idiots regardless or political persuasion.

  • And I would laugh at this, but because these are likely the people who put Obama in office, they're literally destroying our nation. It's hard to laugh knowing that a future of success will only result in these lunatics raging class warfare on you, living on the welfare, food stamps, and healthcare your tax dollars paid for. What a sad country.

  • This is just sad. I'm an ex-lib, but honestly, removing Glen Beck from the radio would do nothing to me. I don't follow Glen Beck or Fox news at all (unless it's a GOP debate or something), and I know there are plenty of other cons who would say the same. Unlike the liberals who want to silence conservatives not just by signing that petition, but through demonizing them on a media-fed sense of principle, I know how to think for myself and judge on my own standards.

  • Liberals are the kinds of people who claim to be champions of free speech, but then want Maoist or Castro-like media.

  • I would have spit on that petition, there's your fucking signature.

  • what else is dangerous is that these liberals have the right to vote yet have no clue what they're talking about

  • I understand your point and intended message BUT this is a very destructive video- Is shows how easily people will sign anything- It also clearly indicates of their ignorance of history and human involvement- This video will plant more seeds of destruction than that of construction- Do as politicians and edit carefully send the links to broadcasters that clearly show the young people choosing to sign to KEEP video, radio, and TV conservatives alive and safe and with their God given rights-

  • YES! FUCK THOSE RIDICULOUS, FREE SPEECH HATING LIBTARDS!

NOW ONWARD NOBLE CONSERVATIVES AND BAN VIOLENT VIDEO GAMES, RAP/METAL MUSIC, AND SEX ON TV! FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHTS!

    caps lock rock n roll!

  • @JewsInUranus I would be considered "far right" by the liberal media, but I love metal music. Black metal, death metal, thrash metal, you name it. Metal isn't a leftist thing, it's a musical genre which doesn't belong to liberals.

  • @Wotanraven well, metal isnt exactly a conservative thing either considering its usually anti-government/religion. but as long as we agree that christianity doesnt belong to conservatives, then yes.

now: media should remain free. i dont care if you want to watch a show where talking vegetables preach christianity or read books about faggot penguins. it should remain free and let the market decide. schultz, odonnell, rush, hannity are all douches but i wouldnt ban/protest them.

  • there is no such thing as an extreme level of freedom of speech.

  • What a success this was.

  • The hypocrisy is dripping from these libtards.

  • @pbstl747 Upset that I insulted the conservative version of Micheal Moore? Also taking someone who writes books on homeopathy seriously is probably more of a mental disorder than being a naive university student.

  • Well, Glenn beck is a douchebag.

  • 1:26 - you don't even need to convince them to dig themselves into a hole, they're already one step ahead of you, you just need to give them a shovel.

You could give these people a petition to ban their right to sign petitions and they would sign it with their own pen.

Opposition = Hatred in the liberal mind.

  • @crutch145 - preferred by me. Not that they need to, nor should, just that it would be to my own liking. I understand that my first post didn't convey that message properly.

  • @crutch145 - Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. I don't agree with any person being banned from expressing their thoughts or opinions, rather that their passing such opinion off as fact is misguiding to person listening. I don't claim that people cannot tell the difference between the talk-show hosts opinion's and what is actual fact. What I do think is, because of the the confusion that may arise out of stating opinion as fact, that the hosts reconsidering how they present material would be

  • @LolWutAnime Aw...... so you don't think when you hear and SEE the actual person Say the words Glenn reports it's REALLY Them saying it ? what ? Glenn is still making them say it ? well the difference between liberal / ignorant college students & Glenn & Rush.....THEY ARE FIGHTIING for YOU to have the freedom to listen or not....the freedom to sign this paper, WHICH by doing so. YOU take that very freedom from them... Talk about a double/ liberal piece of crap !

  • @lisalynn47 What are you even trying to say? Not only did you not string together any sort of coherent thought, you didn't even say anything that actually pertains to what I said in any way. Maybe you misread what I said thinking that I meant something else, but what you "replied" with is hardly a reply at all. You essentially just stated your own opinion about the video itself and thought it actually had a direct relation to what I said.

  • those people seem like they would sign toilet paper if you gave it to them

  • The guy at 3:08 eluded to the real reason why they shouldn't be on "air," rather that they should not be on the news. News channels are there to report -- not impart opinions. I believe they sure are entitled to freely express their ideas, but not in a way that portrays their beliefs as fact on a news station which has the sole purpose of informing the public on current events.

  • @LolWutAnime but its a radio TALK show not a news report bro

  • @thepolice911copeland On what stations do many talk-shows air? The main example of talk-show hosts that was used in the video was Glenn Beck, whose show appears on FOX News. A news channel. Surely, the show itself isn't a news report, but that's part of the issue I have with it being on a news station.

  • @LolWutAnime .....Its not on fox news its been off for a while buddy and what about shows on MSNBC that do the exact same thing from a left leaning bias?

  • Jeez -- those kids are signing their rights away!

  • Either all of us have free speech, or none of us do.

Don't ban Rushing Bull Limbaugh from the radio! Then who will I argue with?

  • well this is contradicting

  • Dude at 1:05 ...does it hurt looking stupid as well as ignorant?

  • Comment removed

  • 1:42 - "I've got no tolerance." Typical liberal.

  • Ha wow so many communist bastards. They are gonna need more than a piece of paper to shut my mouth!!!!

  • And these liberals have the nerve to call consevatives Fascists.Maybe they need some remedial history lessons!Oh yeah we are now living in the time of revisionist history. What was good is now evil and what was evil is now good.Saul Allynsky would be so proud of the professors at our Universities.Top down bottom up inside out.Bring down the country by first making our college students stupid and then send them into the world to wreak havoc!

  • Wow, so if you disagree with someone you should get them banned? I do not like Rush Limbaugh but I would not go and ban him!

  • This method of asking people is flawed and indirect. If you want to ask people about free speech or political ideas, just talk about it and don't tip toe around the topic.

  • One of my employees successfully sued me for £100k+ after claiming he’d suffered “crippling loss of self-esteem” due to my comments.

He’d been a real pain in the office, constantly showing everybody pictures of his young son. All I did was wish him well “this time around”, pointing out that he’d been “a failure as a parent the 1st time”- which was TRUE (a son from his first marriage had overdosed at 17).

Apparently this amounts to some sort of hate crime. Whatever happened to free speech?

  • Derp :P My professor told me that liberals are cool lol.

  • Just let them make fucking idiots of themselves!

  • Free speech for me.. nothing for you.

  • Brainless liberals. The tolerance they proclaim as a badge of honor only extends so far as those who agree with their views.

  • well conservatives arent really eligible for free speech. You see free speech has its limits. You cant scream FIRE! in a movie theatre. The idea is you cant say anything that will put others in grave danger. So naturally conservatives shouldnt really be allowed free speech. Everything they say is ridiculous and puts many in grave danger.

  • @ruderevival Nice hypocrisy. Also, free speech cannot be limited, else it isn't free speech, but privileged speech. You probably also support laws against "hate" speech which are extremely subjective.

  • @Vengrence i was joking, just being facetious, trying to spark some controversy, hopefully piss someone off. But in all seriousness I dont think hate speech is extremely subjective. If someone speaks out against another group in a way that is attacking their beliefs or their ethnicity or their intelligence based on their ethnicity or cultural practices or anything like that, its hate, no matter what. Not very subjective.

  • @ruderevival That's not what is categorized as hate speech these days. It's far more bullshittery. A geneticist stating clear differences between various ethnicities/racial groups is considered to be doing hate speech. Or a scientist uncovering a discovery that's not politically correct. That's somehow hate speech too.

  • @Vengrence Im not familiar with these exampples, but they sound very intersting. Could you perhaps give me or cite a few specific examples?

  • @ruderevival Geneticists like James. D. Watson who was branded as politically incorrect and an evil racist because he was explaining obvious facts.

He's the famous co-discoverer of the structure of DNA in 1953, and served on scientific committees until he was forced to resigns because of some "hate speech". He's the more well known case though, this kind of crap happens quite a lot to less well known scientists. They have their careers ruined because they're not "politically correct".

  • @Vengrence Oh yes I have heard of that case. He may have been presenting what he found to be scientific data, but he sure was a real douchebag about it. Thats what i think at least

  • @ruderevival He was just presenting it without sugarcoating it with bullshit. Scientists aren't politicians, they're not going to sweeten facts just to be more popular. They're generally not social people either.

  • @ruderevival There IS a fire. Wake the hell up.

  • @SupurNinja i meant you cant do that if there is no fire

  • @ruderevival lol, I got that ;)

I'm just saying that our economy and our repiblic are in grave danger and the power elite are dead set on pretending everything is okay until they can finish setting up the police state.

They are the ones telling everyone to remain in their seats in the theater as the smoke starts to rise to the ceiling.

  • @SupurNinja oooo ok gotcha, makes sense to me, sounds about right too!

  • @ruderevival Linking conservative speech to saying "Fire" is an easily reversible stretch. People who brand themselves socialist in the West European sense can be six degrees of Kevin Bacon'd into the Communist side of things, then the critics wheel out the 100 million deaths under Mao bit and, before you know it, that gets banned. If we want OWS or Tea Party rallies to stay legal then they both have to be protected.

  • Wow liberals really do support free speech thats why obama is such a great president...JK!!!

  • although i understand what they are doing the way the question seemed to be about the radio hosts not conservatives, if you asked people to ban justin beiber from making music people would sign just because they dont like hes music not because they want to silence anything he has to say.

so people here seem to want him taken off air because they dont like what he says not just because he is conservative.... if that makes any sence at all.. it kinda did to me

  • "You believe in free speech right?"

    "Yep"

"What do you think about the first amendment?"

"What? I don't know what that is."

    Lolwat.

  • Wow man, I am a US Marine. You should really think about what you do. If you were to ask me the questions you asked these people I would have beat your ass. My mission#1 is to support and defend the Constitution. Apprently yours is being an Idiot

  • "You believe in free speech, right?"

    "Yep!"

    "For Glenn Beck...?"

"He's an ass. -signs and walks off-"

  • Thanks for this video. The result is obvious. It's exactly the same in Europe. For those saying that conservatives would do the same, some certainly would, but much fewer. Example : surveys in France have revealed that leftists are much less inclined to marry someone of a different political opinion than conservatives are. Goes to show how, ironically, leftists are far more intolerant. As we say here, leftists are all for democracy except when you don't vote like they do.

  • @Wotanraven

Surely this great survey about marrying people in France is a great discovery that will define all political-philosophical debates around the world.

This is reasonable because rightwingers and leftwingers from one nations are exactly the same as in any other.

Thank you for sharing this small drop of knowledge from your barrel of world wisdom to moist our ignorant parched lips, oh great sage. Can you share more so we can move to an united world without war, poverty and hunger?

  • @MrDeddiDeddi As I said in my first comment, "It's exactly the same in Europe". As a French American, I know both countries and cultures very well, and I do safely say that leftists and conservatives in France and the US are extremely similar.... the leftists even more, they use exactly the same methods, it's almost disconcerting. But no need to get all emotional about it.

Anyway, you are very bad at irony, and your last sentence is completely off topic.

  • @Wotanraven He should have told his signers that, they were signing for a term-limits amendment to ban Beck, Limbaugh and others of their ilk who abuse "free speech", . . . etc, . . .

  • @Wotanraven

i highly doubt that much fewer conservatives would considering that many support (vocally or silently) many of these "family groups" whose purpose is to prevent the "liberal media" from, well, being liberal.

  • The Hitler Youth come to mind.

  • I bet you a million dollars that some conservatives would sign similiar petitions. And why would they do that? Because in the end there aren't no conservatives or liberals. Just stupid people. Good job on fooling everyone that you are "fighting against the great evil liberal machine". Jackasses.

  • @MrDeddiDeddi Give examples where conservatives banned your free speech!

  • @ashken79

I'm sorry, are you seriously implying that no american conservative has ever attempt to censor something or somebody?

    Seriously?

  • Comment removed

  • That's rich. A trick? It seems pretty straightforward to me. These American college students are signing a petition to limit/ban conservative media. If it were in any way 'suggestive', that would imply that getting the chance to limit/ban conservative media would have to sound ATTRACTIVE in the first place. And it shouldn't. To anyone. The price we pay for our freedom is that we must be prepared to hear things that we may strongly disagree with.

  • @baustin316

As for whether I would be tricked; when I was about 19 - yes. Maybe. But one universal thing of 19-22 year olds these days (even if they're at college) whether liberal or conservative is that they are largely still ignorant. They're still just kids! But I'm 30 now. So no. I wouldn't be tricked into making a fool of myself by the kid who made this video.

But if the question was 'Would you support this petition even if it violates 1st Amendment Rights' - the result would be different.

  • @baustin316 The video is presented in a way that suggests that the maker feels he has uncovered some truth which effects us all in the manner of a sort of 'undercover' journalistic service. That's speculation on my part, but if I'm correct - it's ludicrous.

I use the word 'trick' because the maker, and I, and you, all know that if you present yourself in a legitimate, formal fashion to someone and through suggestive wording offer them a chance to 'extend their will'; they will take that chance.

  • This is SOOOO fucked up. These people are idiots, and have probably NEVER actually listened to Rush or Glen Beck. They are obviously brainwashed by the liberal media. The only thing that is "real" news to these people is news they AGREE with. idiots.

  • "Do you know what the first amendment is?"

"I do not know what it is."

Our tax dollars hard at work. Public schooling at its finest!

  • @1RedshirtXLG

Public schools (high schools) are legally obligated to teach the Constitution in most states (The law might even be federal). Its not the schools fault if the students didn't pay attention. Obviously there are numerous flaws in the school system, but this really isn't there fault.

  • @SadegoGG

**Plus the kid you were talking about could have been an international student

  • Mob rule is mob rule.

  • im a hypocrite because if someone asked me tovsign for keith olberman to get off the air i would. no need for that petition though. but ed schultz ill sign for.

  • If we no longer have free speech, how can we stand up and speak out against monsters like Monsanto? If we no longer have free speech, how can David stand up to Goliath?

Yes, free speech is annoying to some, such as Monster Monsanto, because it is slowing down Monsanto's national take-over. It is slowing down Monsanto's efforts to monopolize our food supply, sterilize our crops, and destroy all the organic farms that might have fed us when Monsanto collapses from its own boomerang.

    Speak up.

  • Here's an appeal to the video maker:

You're at college, so take this video to a journalism professor. Ask him to COMPLETELY set aside his political views while he watches it and just ask him to assess whether your journalistic methods are sound and if he would accept this kind of work from his journalism students.

He will laugh at you and your video.

There's a reason why you don't see this kind of stunt pulled even on Fox News - because journalistically - it's total cheap-trick bullshit.

  • If you'd actually made a video where you'd caught liberal college students trying to make a REAL petition which they were earnestly trying to get people to sign to get conservatives off the air, then you'd have made a point.

But you didn't, you went for a cheap entrapment trick.

Bravo. You've proved that young college students aren't particularly level-headed. Like we didn't know already.

I would've signed that petition when I was 19. I wouldn't now. I would laugh at you and say 'nice try'.

  • I could easily make a video at a Nascar race asking conservatives to sign a petition to get Keith Olberman off the air. You know those people would sign that fake petition. You're kidding yourself if you say they wouldn't.

So what would it prove? Very little.

All it proves is that common members of the public with a political leaning are rarely impartial or fair in their private moments and that we need these constitutional rights to be protected from the common man's flaws.

  • I can't stand all of these ignorant morons. Thank you for exposing the hypocritical ways of the typical college student.

  • comparing affirmative action to economic opportunities to be able to get on a sports team is ridiculous.

  • Comment removed

  • I love you guys!!!!!

  • Ten to one that almost of those who signed this petition have only 'heard' the conservatives mentioned in brief out of context sound bites from MSNBC or the likes, or most probably have never heard the speak or listened to one show and have only taken someone's word that they were "hateful". The divisiveness in our country has gotten so bad that people wont even listen to the other side of an issue. Most sad though is that these kids have no concept of the value of their freedoms since they wer

  • Ignorance...what a shame. Great vid!

  • Cute.

    Let me ask you this...

If you made a fake petition saying you were trying to get Keith Olbermann off the air and went around asking Rush Limbaugh supporters to sign it - do you think they'd all refuse to sign it and lecture you for attempting to violate Olbermann's freedom of speach?

  • @BPL1980 They might there is no denying that. Those supporters should look into their positions. But I have never heard any Conservative talk/radio host talk about limiting the rights of the individual, especially speech. Well you might say "They cut people off on there all the time!" Yeah but the liberal shows do that as well.

  • @EPRSwordsman

This is my point exactly. Asking one group of not-quite mature individuals who have essentially no kind of position to consider beyond their own selfish agenda if they would like to have their opponents silenced proves absolutely NOTHING.

A group of conservative kids would say EXACTLY the same thing about Keith Olbermann.

Absolutely nothing to learn from this video. Oh wait - it was made by kids. There ya go...

  • @BPL1980 I can't stand Olberman, but I'd NEVER sign a petition to take away his first amendment rights, or any others for that matter. You question is straight out of the liberal playbook. And that is that liberals always accuse others of what they themselves are guilty of.

  • Ok, so let me ask you again.

If I were to go to a Walmart in a red state and ask all the corn dog munching Nascar fans to sign a petition to get Olberman off the air, do you think they would stand there and say 'No - Keith Olberman has as much right to free speech as anyone else' or do you think they'd say 'Damn right! Get that Kike off the air!'

Which do you think will happen?

If you stand by the caricature of libs as students, then I stand by the caricature of conservatives as Nascar fans.

  • @BPL1980 Some would sign your petition. I agree with you on that. I was speaking for MYSELF. I never suggested that ALL college students were liberal, but in fact, MOST certainly are because of peer pressure and the constant indoctrination that they must endure from the socalled "enlightened" leftist professors within the universities. The election results vindicate my position. The students are merely unwitting "useful idiots" of the left wing and don't even realize it....yet.

  • @bungalowwil All these points you're making about the 'indoctrination of blah blah' and the 'leftist professors blah' are separate points to the one I'm making. Maybe they're right, maybe they're wrong.

The debate I want to focus on is about the journalistic qualities of this video and whether it proves what it sets out to prove.

It proves nothing. You agree to that yourself when you say that 'some would sign my petition'.

This video is trash and should be ignored by both the left & right.

  • @BPL1980 It's a YouTube video, not NBC News. As far as I'm concerned, it proves it's point EXACTLY, and it shows the utter hypocracy of the liberal students. That's what the point was, and it succeeded perfectly. You say that "The video is trash and should be ignored by both left and right." I disagree completely with that statement. If you believe that it's trash, by all means, IGNORE IT! But, don't state what others should do because you think it's trash. That's a form of facism.

  • @bungalowwil Basically, what you've just said is;

"All the points you have made are completely sound. However, despite how obviously cheap and sleazy and childish this video may be; I'd like to invest some stock in the worth of it's content because it upholds my viewpoint - therefore I'm going to completely ignore your analysis and in order to make that more easy I'm going to angrily accuse you of facism out of nowhere just for good measure".

    You are an unskilled debater.

  • @BPL1980 Basically, what I said was;

When you say what should and should not be ignored and by whom, you are practicing facism, period. It was not stated out of anger and I'm surprised that an individual as intelligent as yourself pretends to know what my emothions may be when I write something. I am once again going to ingnore your analysis not because it's easy, but because I don't give a shit. Yes, you are correct. I am an unskilled debater, not a masterbater like you. Bye!

  • The title of this video is misleading. I think you may have mentioned free speech 2 times throughout.

  • there's a difference between free speech and free lies.

would conservatives sign a petition to bring back the fairness doctrine even if it meant that rush and beck would have to tell the truth?

also, how about when he asked the guy who was probably a foreign student if he liked the first amendment? talk about jackass!

  • @mcboltron Come on face it, you Libtards are racist, anti-American Hitler loving pieces of fucking shit.

  • omg are there really that many liberal dumbasses in school?? how in the world did they even GET into college?!?! once they hear "right wing", "conservative" they didnt even care what they are signing themselves up for.. they just pick up the pen.. this is frightening how brainwashed these kids are

  • @pekkle0724 college is the finishing school for the liberal indoctrination done through k-12

  • @pekkle0724 It certainly is frightening. And to answer your question....Yes! There really IS that many liberal dumbasses in school. Sad, but true.

  • black dude had a nice shirt.

  • Every idiot that I disagree with needs to get GTFO the radio. It's not about 'Free Speech' it's about I don't want to hear you. Can they say what they want? Sure. Of course. If I had the power to get them kicked off of every radio station, TV, YouTube, all of it? Yes, I would. And the only reason the Republicans have a snowball chance in hell in the 21st Century is due to the Fox Channel. You could call them 'Fox News', but they are not actually giving out news.

  • @seancorimichael

Hitler would be very proud of you.

  • @seancorimichael You have a very troubling facist outlook. The guy that said that Hitler would be proud of you is absolutely correct.

  • The totalitarian attitude depicted in this video clip is endemic among the denizens of the People's Republic of California. What's the median composite SAT score at this public (freeloader) pseudo-college? It must be zero or thereabouts. Is there any legal means by which America can be rid of California by devolving it to Mexico with a proviso that Mexico will subsequently stop invading Arizona (halt the Reconquista) and take back all the wetbacks? Much of America's academe is a Leftist cabal.

  • I hate Glenn Beck but still thats so hypocritical.

  • ROMNEY/BACHMANN-PALIN 2012

  • Youtube Junk. Much like that idiot Michael Moore you can do anything with time and editing. THINK FOR YOURSELFE! Beck, Maddow, Limbaugh and Schultz are our downfall. Trust yourself and quit being too lazy to form your own complex opinion. The world ain't that black and white.

  • Wow these guys really dont like conservatives

  • @abvmoose87 Who cares what they like and don't like? Not me.

  • 'just to limit their free speech..' LOL so mindless it's actually scary.

  • we're doomed.

Petitioner said"free speech" in his pitch, yet not one idiot had the critical thinking to question him.

morons say a nwo will be right wing.

but the soviet system effectively dealt with tens of millions of diverse people(claiming "fairness"). we surrender freedom for fear of offending anyone and cut space exploration(the birth child of western civilization-exploring our reality)

Global population is now 6x larger than can be sustained without fossil fuels

  • It kind explains the level of knowledge needed to agree with this guy. In a way, it advertises how ignorant they are about free speech and the 1st amendment. I would like to re-approach these same people after they age & mature 20 years an after gaining successful employment and children. I bet the majority will change their opinions. Maybe they could meet some former Ukrainians and get a "real life" education on the subject.

  • We know that libertarians and conservatives would never shut up any lefties. In fact letting them blab.....

  • Amazing. These are "students?" Libtards are constantly banging the "tolerance" drum, as long as your tolerance is within THEIR social and political boundaries.

What an educational wasteland most colleges have become. This country is doomed if they take over.

  • this is a completely biased experiment...I agree with @dtadeo2006 on this.

  • This is why Obama wants more funding for public education and to send more people to college. A government that has control over education is a government that has control over the minds of its people.

  • I can't believe how ignorant those "students" are.

  • This is liberals in a nutshell. They would make good race horses, blinders on and they just keep running in one direction without using thought.

  • I am liberal and I would have NOT signed this because I think that people should hear both sides of the spectrum. I bet the editor took the parts out where people were thinking like me..

  • @oliverdrcy

Wouldn't it be a good idea to flip this around, and ask conservatives to sign a pledge to ban Keith Olbermann? It would be interesting to see which petition gets a higher percentage of signatures.

  • @klopek007 Uh, well, it might be but for the fact that Keith Olbermann has already been banned by MSNBC. Maybe you could substitute Raymond R. Maddow or Chris what's -his-name. Hey, but even if those wing-dingers were on the ticket I'd let 'em keep spewing their argle-bargle; Christ, what would life be without someone to laugh at every once in a while?

  • The best is the guy at 1:28, who seems to be completely rational at first, saying that he disagrees with them, but they should have the right to say what they want.

    THEN HE SIGNS IT ANYWAY!!!

  • Seriously they should have had a clue. I can't stand CNN but I'm not gonna sign a petition to get them off the air.

  • wow how far we have come as a nation......really sad to see. No wonder these people voted for obummer. they saw a chance to vote for something they wanted to see, a black president, with out thinking about what he was really saying. Just like they would sign a petition getting GB off the air with out thinking that it owuld undermind the Most important ammendment we have.

  • haha glad i found this channel, subscribed.

  • Wow. Sleazy.

  • They must not teach comprehension in school any more. After listening to these people you have to believe they do not comprehend the meaning of the words that leave their mouths.

People have been conditioned to think that their opinion is important. It's just not true. Opinions not based on any kind of logic or reason are worthless, period. No matter how "feel good" it may seem. If you cannot back it up with rational thought, don't bother.

  • This is non-sense. Free speech doesn't mean that everyone has a right to get paid to be on the radio. These radio stations are privately owned, and they can put whomever they want on or take anyone they don't want off.

If the petition was to the govn't to stop beck, then there would be irony. A petition to a private company has nothing to do with the 1st amendment.

    This is a Collage, right?

  • double think.

  • I want Glenn Beck off the air and the majority of Fox or anyone who consistently show a track record of mis-information which fox is so famous for. I don't want him off for the comments he makes but just for the lies he feeds to the american people which I feel should be a crime

  • @ihavevideoatoo I'm paleoconservative and I loathe Beck as well as a great deal of the modern day GOP... that being stated, your words regarding FOX imply you are buying into the other 50% of this. FOX is indeed guilty of lies, tampering with audio/video for the sake of political manipulation, and various other transgressions and this deserves to be exposed - so are each of the other "news" networks. Unfortunately this isn't discussed on tv as is the case with FOX, but examples are here on YT.

  • @VileIntentionsUS True but Fox does not make any effort to correct it's errors. CNN, MSNBc have of course made mistakes. They happen but the difference is that they actually correct themselves when theyre wrong. Please show me a video where Fox corrects itself on a "mistake" made by the opposite side.

  • @ihavevideoatoo FOX has made retractions. Are you just mentally blocking them out? I don't think I've heard Rachel Maddows make a retraction though. Not saying she hasn't, just that I haven't heard her make one.

  • @cuda1179 First of all read it clearly because I didn't say its errors in general, I said its errors when it concerns the other side. Does it fix those? Has it fixed any comments they have said about the Obama healthcare plan, his cabinet or Obama in general that would make him look better if they had corrected it?

  • @ihavevideoatoo Well, son, first you would have the burden of proof to cite a documentable instance where Fox News erred without submitting a subsequent retraction. Give me a jingle when you've got something substantive, tangible, and admissible. Anything else is just Berkeley barbershop bullshit. Carry on.

  • @hansboofer Nonsense. There is nothing tangible to submit because the news itself isn't tangible. Just about every news outlet in the US is extremely guilty of obvious biased reporting. Convenient details are left out, things are taken out of context with the intent of creating false scenarios. That or people's opinions are presented as news. These are not prosecutable "errs" because you're not being told anything worth knowing in the first place.

  • @abortedlord As you wrote, "Just about every news outlet...is extremely guilty...of biased reporting." This is certainly true of the New York Times, MSNBC, Media Matters and The Huffington Post. This is why Fox News has been #1 for the past-what?- 13 years or so. They are the only outlet to continually allow nutty-assed far-left wing-dingers a chance to opine their views - however indefensible. Carry on, son.

  • @hansboofer I really think you missed the much deeper accusation in my post. The point you made isn't a good thing and is in fact an example of the issue I bought up. An episode of the Loony Toons has more intellectual merit than inviting the most inane example of a political opponent possible onto your show to berate em' for fifteen minutes. The point of all of this finely crafted infotainment is to do nothing but reinforce preexisting bias; which is the opposite of what "news" is.

  • @ihavevideoatoo Nice to see that Youtube is open to posting by anyone, including the very stupid. After you're finished with helping your mother with scrubbing the shit stains outta your Spiderman shorts do some research and cite all those specific "lies" that "Fox is so famous for..." Now no more knee-jerk stupid posts - Only the facts. Carry on, son.

  • @hansboofer i already told you about Liberal viewers videos so if you havent seen those well then wouldnt be smart on you part calling me stupid old man. Also I already cleared up that they aren't exactly "lies" but I take dishonest editing as lies.

    Go troll somewhere else

  • @ihavevideoatoo You're not paying attention, my loyal dung beetle: Cite then an instance of "dishonest editing" on the part of Fox News and your credibility as a third-rate journalism student at Wayne State will be duly enhanced. Case closed, son. Carry on.

  • Protip: Glen Beck isn't conservative.

  • That's a really oddly worded question. Plus, Beck and Limbaugh are on par with Tokyo Rose with the "yelling fire in a crowded theater" only they pander to undereducated, anxious sheep instead of homesick soldiers. I don't think they should be silenced but they are nothing more than fear mongers and terrorists. If the question was worded more clearly, you would still get some of the same reactions but we don't know how these people align politically. This is just bias, manipulative swill.

  • To broadcast on the radio or on tv requires a license from the government. The right to broadcast is a privilege, not a right.

Oh no! We're not in a free country! I can't do whatever I want whenever I want! I can't run down the street stark naked at 2 in the afternoon! This is fascism!

Waaaah, cry harder you sopping cunts.

  • Truly useful idiots.

  • Amazing. This should scare every American that people are eager and willing to sign such a petition.

How gullible these people are. They hear a name and it's "Oh, let me sign!" These morons probably signed the petition banning "dihydrogen monoxide" (water, for those who need a translation).

  • @taocpa Hey, douchebag. The airwaves aren't free. Never have been. Did you forget that the FCC exists?

  • It's time to start showing the Leftist Red Menace the way to China.

    Leftists Out of U.S. NOW!!!
