I still own the Car. Decided not to sell it.. Its getting a new clutch this weekend. I'm putting in a Spec Stage 3+ (850 torque) with the low pedal rate and 26 spline input shaft. I have 51k miles on it now. The Whipple is perfect. My next upgrade will be the 3.4 Whipple supercharger, 5.3/5.4 stroker kit and pistons. Hopefully get into the 800-900 HP(700+rwhp) range. :)

Goto any Ford dealership - at the parts department - they should have a cataglog for you too browse, and you should find about any part - mustangs need for late too new model mustangs... and all ford racing parts are in there as well.

i have a 91 lx myself but i give credit to "ricers" that build their cars right-300-350 horses-out of a 4 cyl is impressive-if done right-if not then long nights and loads of money makin it right-plus those cars weigh much less then are stangs-its all about power to weight w/ 4cyl's. i admit ive been beat by a 97 gsr integra-normal mods-plus my car is auto-exhaust/bbk coldair-ecam-etc etc-i think if i didnt have stock rear gears-maybe 3.73 or 4.10s i woulda got him. keep on stangin

okay my last message was choppy 2000(year) of cobra r had the 5.4litre,side exhaust,and brembo brakes. I know for sure ford made 3 different cobra R's. I'm pretty sure it was in 93' 96(or 8) and for sure 2000. Ford def. mad cobra's in 99 00(the R) 01 02....then the supercharged 03-04 years then the newest SHELBY GT500 "COBRA" which Ford's Special.Vehicals.Team SVT had their hands in.

Ford made the Cobra R in three different years; '93, '95 (5.8L), and the 2000 (5.4L). Ford did not make regular Cobras in the years '00, and '02. In 2003 the Supercharged version, affectionately known as the "Terminator", was released. Terminators continued through '04 until the body-style change to the S197.
