It's also a prodrug so using any other ROA is worthless since the conversion to morphine via first pass metabolism is where you obtain the high. Codeine sucks any way. If you're going to use opiates/opioids, do it right. Bang some H/hydromorphone/oxymorphone. That's where it's at.

I lace the blunts with codeine and promethazine, and unless it was some crazy placebo effect I know I felt the promethazine.
