What a load of BS. You think that the only kind of abuse that exists is physical abuse? What about verbal? Emotional? Those aren't good enough reasons for a divorce?
Jews? Non-Jews? Isn't everyone HUMAN? I learnt, (in Hebrew school!), that God created ONLY 2 peopl, so that EVERYONE culd have t same ancestors...& NO-ONE cud think themselves better, (or efn different) than anyone else! Who wants 2 return 2 t "shetl"? Pogroms? Poverty? Marriag wOUT love? Hard work wout appliances or cars? Colourful ethnic tribalism is NOT 21st century! Toynbee said Judaism is a fossil...& he was RIGHT!

"None goes 2 t Father except THRU me." THRU me-- not WITH me. Meaning: Lern Jesus' wisdom...then use it in ur own way. God is LOV, & so is Christianity. Judiasm DEMANDS duty. U seem afraid f divorc bcaus it wil end t diminishing number of Jews! Ushud know Judaism ENCOURAGES divorce when no other way out s found. Colorful ethnic tribalism is NOT 21st century! Intermarriage...YES!

"The Jewish Way in Love and Marriage" by Maurice Lamm, pp. 11f, the section entitled "THE HAZARDS OF ROMANCE."
I also like pp. 22f, the section entitled "YICHUD AND MARRIED ROMANCE," but starting on p. 18 (and onward) the concept of YICHUD (unification) as it relates to marriage is covered in some depth.
Of course, this bears upon our own relationship with HaShem, in as much as it too is a "marriage."
It's a wonderful book! I also recommend it to Xians.
