The correct Sur is: Om namo bhagavaTE rudraya | naMAste rundra manyaVA utota iSHve naMAha | naMAste astu dhANVAne bahuBHYAmuta te naMAha | ya ta ishusivaTAmaa sivam babhuVA te dhaNUhu | ..........Where capital letters indicate loud utterance.
Thank you! Great work! By far the best rudram video. I shared this video with several of my friends. The translation is fair enough, may not be the most accurate. Secondly, the pronunciation of Namakam and Chamakam is crystal clear but is missing proper 'swaram' (sur in Hindi). Very few know the real vedic swaram.
at 30sec it says "...Shiva, who is the compassionate form of Rudra". Then read the following by Axel Michaels : "To what extent Siva's origins are in fact to be sought in Rudra is extremely clear.....facts that justify such a far reaching assumption are meager."
This work is a big help for the advancement of the mankind. Can I please have the english script along with the english translation sent to my email address bruveer@yahoo.com. Thank you in advance.
This is one of the best contribution on this public domain. Thanks to all your efforts and meaning in sub titles. This will help me to be more perfect in chanting Rudra.
hey..thanks alot for the video..really appreciate your effort. Could anyone tell me where this statue, the one which comes at the beginning of this video?
It is a great work for all spiritual seekers and for those who want to learn to chant Rudram correctly. It is important to chant it correctly to create appropriate vibrations and get the Lord's blessings.
Thank you very much for posting this beautiful video. It is very special to be able to hear the chant, read the transliteration to learn it, and to see the English translation. Please post more like this. It is a great service. Many blessings to you.
well done : )

Three possibilities:
1. The translation in the above video is wrong
2. Michaels is a dumbass
3. Michaels as an agenda to discredit hinduism
Which one is it?
